Downed survivor appears standing

Downed a survivor who I believe had OoO and they instantly appeared standing again. I was able to still pick them up.
This happened 2x later in the match and one time I got an aura reading which looked like they were standing but were downed.

I witnessed this happen to an Ash Williams on my team. He got downed and stood back up for a few seconds before getting picked up, which put his model back on the ground then started the pick up animation.
