So, we do not care about new chapters honestly, what we want is full-on crossprogression, more patches (which I know you've been doing) and etc, chapters are not important, if you care about the game and community, listen to us then

New chapters = New players = More money = New chapters and patches = New players = so on and so forth.

It's a cycle. I care about new chapters, and you should care about new chapters as well, because new content is what fuels the game and helps it continue. You don't have to like the chapters, but at least understand that new content is what makes the patches and upgrades to the game possible. It isn't just about a cool new cameo or original killer!

I must have forgot the moment I allowed you to speak for myself.

And no, I want new chapters and I personally don't give a crap about cross progression.

i very much care about new content.

due to the lack of different gamemodes the game would become very boring without new things to play around with.

in fact, that was on of the main reasons to why i took a very long break a long time ago. the Hag had released and the Doctor was being worked on, however i found Hag to be rather boring and since it took Doc a very long time to come out (they didnt have the 3 month rule at that point), i simply quit the game out of frustration / boredom.

i only came back when i saw that the "Spark of Madness" DLC had dropped and introduced a very unique and interesting new character (the Doctor) to the game - who i ended up maining for a long time.

    Speak for yourself.

I, and many others, love the anticipation of new chapters.

New survivor/killer is the only thing you can look forward to in this game. They're never gonna add new gamemodes and it will always be a broken buggy mess. And balance patches only go so far. The only things we can look forward to in this game are the chapters.

I care about new chapters. I'm someone that needs variety when playing games, otherwise I get bored fast. The gameplay doesn't really offer variety, but the new perks, survivor, killer and maps do.

Who is "we"? You don't speak for me - and I am sure you don't speak for a lot of others. Maybe learn to state YOUR opinion as YOUR opinion instead of trying to speak for a community of thousands. Thanks.

Imo what the game needs is more frequent and impactful patches. I'm fine with new content, but we need more updates in the meantime (more than just cosmetic releases). The time between patches is so long that bugs tend to stay for extended periods and people get frustrated.

I was hoping we'd see an increase in patch frequency over time, but the pandemic squashed any chance of that happening probably.

New content is fine, as long as it works.

Here's the thing, though: The PTB will come out tomorrow. It will be full of bugs, the new killer will be either messed up or unbalanced, people will flock to the forums and Twitter to give feedback, and absolutely none of it will be taken on board. If the devs do decide to make changes, the changes won't happen until after the DLC release, by which time - much like with the Twins - everyone who had even the slightest interest in playing the new killer will just go back to their mains or stop playing.

The problem isn't new content. The problem is the new content not being ready for release, and being pushed out in a broken/unbalanced state anyway. Blight was released six months ago, and is getting an FOV fix with this upcoming DLC. That FOV fix should have been in the first patch after his release. How long will it take for this new killer to be in the state they should be in?

If there is a problem with the new DLC, the best thing Behaviour can do is delay and fix it. But they won't, because they know people will buy it anyway.
