Just played against a killer from Peru connecting to the USA. These players need to be warned then banned.

Why are these types of matches allowed? Nobody should be playing on a US Server that isn't in the US. This causes problems in game, mostly for the survivors because it causes the killer/survivor to warp/stutter and gives(typically the killer) an unfair advantage.

We already have enough issues with players being toxic(camping/tunneling/bullying), but you guys have yet to address this huge QOL issue on top of overly long queue times. I'm sure this will just get ignored, as most suggestions complaining about QOL.

BHVR, your servers are no where near up to par to allow international connections. Not even in the same zipcode. Combined with all the other problems that you keep bandaid fixing. Its not like this hasn't been requested 500 1/2 dozen times either on both here and people slamming you on Twitter for these same reasons too.

    Can games detect that said person is using VPN or something along these lines?

    BHVR, if youre going to go by Servers, you need to do better than what you currently have. It's not in a good spot. Don't care if you have a 50k player base. How many of those people are actually happy with the state of the game? I'd bet not a lot since steam charts numbers are skewed by the staggering amount of times DBD has been on sale.

    I don't even want to be playing with anyone outside of the continental US/Canada. Anytime I play against someone from Mexico/South America, It's NEVER good. It's always a stuttering killer warping everywhere. Its one thing to be hit through a pallet you dropped early because the killer is lagging, its another when a killer from Mexico teleports to the other side of the pallet and hits me. So that's either the player cheating or your servers are just really that terrible. I'm going with terrible, since EAC isn't actually THAT BAD(it used to be not even worth having as security)... but Ive seen people joke that DBD Servers are preordered from Walmart and deployed in Antarctica but jesus christ this is getting ridiculous.

    At almost 5k hours, you guys are seriously dropping the ball with your game. Between the DC penalty system being a joke(Still), toxic players, MMR pairing with bad matchups(still), and not so stellar servers.. anyone streaming DBD and still have an audience, you're a legend in my book.

    Honestly, I'm starting to think having a server system like Killing Floor 2 would be better for the game. Especially since according to a lot of sources, the game would have to be utterly rehauled because of the P2P coding. Save yourself and your players a headache. Or make it so your server kicks off players who have an outstanding ping, since you can mask your location with a VPN, but not your atrocious ping.

    The Dev team needs to take a hiatus from releasing new content and seriously hammer out a massive QOL update. Beef up the hamsters, do something. Give us some events to do over the next few months and get to it. I'm not asking for perfect but I'm asking to die on a hook without a barn being between me and the hatchet when i get downed, or the killer swinging no where near me and it still hits me.
