Hatch-Keys need nerfing
There's just no counter to keys, moris got gutted into uselessness so keys should get bent too.
It's especially complete BS that keys can be found in god damn chests.

Franklins is not a counter to any keyuser with a brain who places his key somewhere and gets it when hatch spawns.
Tunneling the person still leaves the key on the ground for the other survivors to get

Both of those things do not work against a surv who just plants the key somewhere for later use.

But neither of those are fun. The first one is boring, I don't like tunneling people, it feels cheap most of the time. The second one makes you waste a perk slot just to get rid of an item that may not even come into play.

Winning the game is not a counter to keys, that's like saying "oh, DS didn't need a nerf I still usually 4k"

It's crazy too because they just added those hatch offerings... Like keys weren't bad enough they had to make an offering to almost guarantee the location of the hatch spawn.

If I see a key I tend to camp the hook and tunnel if I get unhooked.
They always get extremely salty and abusive post game. Even had one game where they stopped doing gens and were all trying to co-ordinate a hatch escape but I managed to catch the key user first and I camped them out and got a tirade of abuse for it.

Hatch itself is the bigger issue, not keys. "Oh, I'm the last survivor! Guess I get out for free!" It's so stupid. Could you imagine something like that in any other game? Keys are just a 2nd chance mechanic within an undeserved win mechanic. "I didn't do the gens but I press this button even after the killer has closed the hatch, and I escape!" Hatch grabbing returning would do wonders for this game. And for those saying the killer would just camp it... You know you can just finish the last gen instead, right? The killer's camping, so make use of that wasted time.

Completely agree. Maybe the tweak could be that the hatch only appears once all 5 gens are done, or if there is one remaining survivor. Other than that, keep it the same.

Well, if just tunneling worked, that means that you got a solo key player, or complete potatoes team.
You kill someone ? The others would get the key, complete gens until hatch spawns, and then escape because hatch location offering. It's literally impossible to 4K (always happens when I try adept).

Happens a lot in red ranks where SWF teams are, with keyS, hatch location offering, map offering, and the classic bunch of meta perks that counter slug (which is the only way to beat keys teams). One week ago I had 5 keys game in a row. On 15 games, I have on average I'd say 5 keys games. Or I'm unlucky, or the only rank 1-2 survivors are SWF key players.
I don't want to sweat just for getting "Entity Displeased". I'm a rank 1 Nurse for months, I think I got good, you can keep your "GET GOOD" caps lock.
Actually you can just slug the last person if you want the 4k if you think you deserve it. It's a little bit randomised, so on average, you'll get hatch before surv gets it 50% of the time.
Hatch for the last survivor is not a problem I think. Immunity on hatch is a problem, you can bad manners the s**t out of the killer because he can't do anything, he should be able to grab the survivor.
Keys are a problem in red ranks, where a big majority of 4SWF squads is bringing keys, hatch location offering, map offering, etc (I wrote that above). The game is done before it starts. There is everything to make you lose, Prove Thyself to be efficient, DS, Unbreakable, Dead Hard (I don't have any problem with DH, it just makes 2/3 of your chases longer, but you don't have the time). If they are playing to win, you will have at least 2-3 survivors, or they are bad and you kill 2 people at 3 gen, in short they are not efficient and playing smart.

Or you know instead of crying like a little 5yr old you could get actually win by killing them. Isnt that the killers job? Survivors bring keys because they can escape/survive with them. SURVIVOR

Dude you really need to stop playing that game. Keys maybe need little nerf but keys are not strong like you mentioned. With key or not SWF teams still will destroy you. But how much good SWF teams here really? %5? %10 maybe? Red ranks doesnt mean you are perfect player because i saw so much noobies on red ranks. So just get good or stop playing.

No you're right, keys are 100% unbalanced and I have no clue why people are defending keys. They're bringing out a major key rework sometime, maybe in the next chapter hopefully. I think the hatch is fine, you don't need to get a 4k all the time, a 3k's a win to me unless the last survivor got out through the exit gates.

It's common knowledge that keys are broken, the ONLY counter is to not let survivors do 3 gens which isn't a counter since you can't pull that off whenever you need to or you would.
Franklins is easily countered by dropping the key off somewhere to use later since you don't need it until hatch spawns plus you can use other items until then or by last second switching to a key as most killers don't bring franklins in the first place.
Tunneling also isn't a counter since the key is still in the trial unless a certain addon is used, as long as the hatch spawn conditions are meet and survivors are playing smart keys have no counters.
To make keys balanced they need to take time to open the hatch and have a way to fairly alert the killer when it's being done.

Well, I think I'm good since I 4K every match, SWF or not, rank 1 or not. I just hard lose when it's a key game.
When you're talking about SWF that will win whatever you are doing, it's Tournament Teams, and these are 1% of the players, if less than that.
I'm talking about not so solid SWF but they with prove thyself and coms, they will get at least 3 gen done, making 2 survivors gone in the best case for you, as a killer.
And when I think about it, your arguments are nothing more that "git gud", "SWF will destroy you anyway" (so there is something broken anyway about SWF), and "it doesn't happen as often as you said", on that I'll answer "Yes, it happens to me frequently, and these loss are as legit as old iri Mori wins".

You dont seem like have 4K every match, sorry for not believing you. SWF teams are strong, i can confirm that as killer but they all are not good. I saw so little teams really did good. And when i see one surv using key, i am just tunnelling and destroying him. And plus i am using mori. So after second hook 100% death. Keys need nerf, i mean when surv uses key only last 2 survs have to escape. If they all are alive only one surv can escape, like that nerfs. But you talking like remove keys. And for that i will repeat "Get Good"

Im gonna keep this short. Keys and Moris should have been nerfed at the same time. Therefore it would have been fair for both sides. Why they are still not nerfed baffles me even as a survivor main.

I have a 85% 4k rate (don't count 3ks as I cba to slug for the 4k most of the time and I mostly give hatch if possible because I don't want them to nerf freddy) on freddy between rank 1 and 2 when I give a ######### about playing again and that was when the game was WAY harder than it is now for killers, after DS nerf it's probably just gonna go up. There is no need for me to "git gud" on a non-competitive partygame.

It's the same stupid argument with pay2win games that don't straight up give people a win but give them a huge advantage, yeah a wallet warrior in World of Tanks "only" has 30% more penetration, better progression and better consumables but he can still lose to a free player, that doesn't make it any less pay2win for most gamers.
Yeah you can beat a key same as you can beat a 4man SWF with metaperks, that doesn't mean they aren't an issue because by that mentality, why ever nerf ANYTHING that is not blatantly broken. Keys are unfun and I don't feel like bringing the best offerings and slugging everybody so I kill them at the same time just because 1 surv brought a key. The same stupid design decision with old moris and im glad they are nerfed. By your logic why nerf old moris, just don't get hooked duh.

Some of us have a life and CBA to sit 5000 hours in a non-competitive game that was basically meant as a mario party and then gloat like some neckbeard for beating people who're just trying to have fun once in a week.
I laugh at people who "get good" in games like DBD and Fall Guys. Can't get good in any of the actual competitive games so you stomp people derping around doing achievements and challenges as a killer LOL.

Then you're probably wrong here and not me, I've welcomed most of the changes and I've been advocating to make this casualgame more casual since it's release. The devs themselves always envisioned this game as a casual experience, again if you feel great here then maybe start realizing that even at rank1 most people you "roflstomp" barely play 3 hours a day while you probably treat gaming almost like a second job, i stopped sweating long ago because it's nothing special beating such ppl when I play almost 8 hours/day myself, maybe not DBD but those skills carry over.
