Fifth perk

So please everyone, before you start burning down killers and all their perks, please hear me out.

So I had the idea of giving both killers more counterplay against the 12 possible perks survivors can bring into a trial whereas the killer can only bring 4. And make it rewarding to prestige.

So my idea was that, when you reach prestige rank III on a killer a fifth perk slot opens up. But not any perk slot though a slot that only lets you select a Hex. So the fifth perk can ALWAYS be destroyed. This would make sense because there are 5 totems in a trial to begin with.

So again just a random idea let me know what y'all think.

What if someone chooses 5 hex perks with one of them being Haunted Grounds?

Also, if this were to ever happen, just make it at level 50, needing it to be P3 50 makes it a huge grind.

I guess that one Haunted Grounds totem just wouldn't spawn.

The game was balanced around 4 perks, adding any more then that even if its just a hex totem would completely destroy the balance of the game. Yes, hex totems can be destroyed but even then it would still be a massive benefit, just imagine builds like rundying, enduring + spirit fury, and tinkerer.

Just imagine 12 second chance perks and OoO, making it essentially unable to quickly remove one player from the trial which in red ranks is a must.

C'mon man, yes i can imagine it would have been nice to have a 5th free perk sometimes that could have turned the game, but a 5th perk also means that those main nurses and spirits and other killers that average a 4k can take a 5th perk...

You try to make it sound "fair" by saying that you can only use a hex perk on it, yet 99% of the killers already run hex perks because they are so strong...

Yes survivors have more perks together, lets not forget how weak they are compared to killer perks, and lets not forget something alot killer players seem to forget: a survivor can die in this game and basically gets thrown out of it, a killer cant.
