Body campers are bad
It's basically the only way some of y'all can get kills. I don't care if you got smoked and want at least one kill, if you sit and proxy camp a body because you can't pressure gens you deserve to be brown rank no matter what. Noobs or not you're not good at the game. They should honestly increase the bloodpoint penalty for being within proximity of the hooked survivor

You realize the people that do this don't give a crap about rank or bloodpoints, right? If they're camping someone to death, it's because they just want to kill them and ruin their day. You cannot stop this tactic with arbitrary penalties to scoring. If you want the tactic to stop, you have to move the hook they're on after they're hooked (similar to Pyramid Head's cages) and don't show the killer where they are. Until the killer can't find their hooked captive, many of them are going to camp them.

Just join a swf and do what you already do. Split up and do gens around the map and leave.
Don't forget to tbag the killer and tell them to split into 4 and pressure all 4 survivors at opposite corners of the map at the same time.

Considering how little killers there are compared to survivors, I highly doubt that.

When I play killer, I run into one, maaaaybe two of those squads in a session. The face campers are at least every third or fourth game.

I mean, normal camping is okay-ish simply because it still gives a slither of chance for survival.
But, BODY camping?
Hell no.
BHVR should implement a system where killers get blinded once they get too close to the hook or is directly face camping it.

You can't implement a system since camping is a normal tactic. They tried once, but it was heavily abused.
Even in games like Overwatch where the penalty for leaving a game is extremely harsh, people still do it just to ruin other people's days. You can't stop that. All you can do is move on.

No but when the devs already tried a similar system the survivors would just loop the killer around or in the vicinity of the hooked survivor and the killer would get their penalty.
For such a system you would have to also take into account the behaviour of survivors. Are they hovering around the hook, leading the killer in a chase close to the hook or is there no one and the killer is just camping.
Also there would be the need for an exception during egc since the only objective for the killer remaining is defending any possible kills they get.

Of course it wouldn't be instant.
It'll take 2~3 seconds in a vicinity of maybe 3~4 meters from the hook itself.

If a killer got bullied all game with little-to-no hooks or any progress at all for that matter, let him have a chance at SOME bloodpoints/pips without you running to the forums crying about it.
Sorry to break it to you, but if you played killer and got absolutely demolished, I highly doubt you're just going to accept it and watch the survivors escape. Just because the game is coming to a close doesn't mean the killer still isn't trying, and at that point, camping is the only way he'll be able to secure a kill unless the survivors ultimately f*ck up.
Now if the killer does this at the beginning of a match, that's a different story.

How is it trash exactly? You want the killer to run through your little funhouse, all your god pallets and hold W zones and you think that takes skill? It takes none.
Sometimes you need to play smart and with some killers their defense is stronger than their chase. That’s what good players do, use the strengths of their character and avoid their weaknesses.

They would literally loop the killer at hook until they were blinded. As someone already stated the devs tried something like it and survivors abused it.
