Ideas to change Legion
These are just a few things I have in mind to buff legion. I want the ideas for legion to buff his lethality and lessen his punishment for misusing their power. The reason I want to buff their lethality to a certain point is because feral frenzy when used right has no counter other than holding m1 and I don't want to make a killer that is strong with no counterplay.
Keep in mind these ideas are just ideas and can be changed for the better.
Tweaks to the Legion's power:
- The Legion no longer loses a percentage of their power when hitting a survivor with a basic attack, I am not sure why this is a thing, but it is.
- When being stunned while in feral frenzy or missing an attack, the Legion is knocked out of feral frenzy and loses only 40% of his power. Feral frenzy begins to build up again as soon as the Legion comes out of stun.
The main changes to the Legion's power (Feral frenzy):
- Each time you inflict a survivor with deep wound, decrease the stun duration when losing feral frenzy by .5 seconds for each individual survivor you hit with feral slash.
- If you manage to hit three survivors while in feral frenzy, hitting another healthy or injured survivor without deep wound will immediately put them in the dying state. The Legion will also gain a 15% increase in movement speed while in feral frenzy after hitting 3 survivors.

Removing the power gauge penalty for basic attacks is great! It doesn't really make sense with the current Legion.
I think the 100% power gauge penalty for missing an attack or getting stunned should stay, Feral Frenzy doesn't really have a counter, so I think if a Survivor pulls of something that makes you miss or stuns you, you should get punished for that.
I don't really like the idea of Feral Frenzy being lethal, the Legion should get rewarded for chaining hits, but I think this isn't it.
You actually made a perfect reward, chaining hits gives you smaller Fatigue, that's a great idea! But it should get a cap, at 2 seconds it should stop decreasing.

FF lowers FPS on Console, so it's easy to miss.
Make it takes 50% of the remaining bar, then if you miss again it cancels it.

That sounds like a console port issue than a core issue with the Legion to be honest.
But that idea also sounds nice, it would basically allow you to miss once if the game decides to aim at a rock.

These are honestly not terrible changes, even if they were a bit much and you only used some it would be nice.
Here is the thing though, devs are just going to again say that his kill rate is pretty close to even and so they think he is fine, and have no plans to change him further at this time. That is what has been said every time he's come up before.
(This was a bit ago though, before the incident where all of the remaining devs here dipped from the forums and decided to no longer communicate with the playerbase anymore)

I think they don't want to break them again, Legion is a very unstable Killer in terms of balance, if you buff them too much they could create problems they would need to care about.
Also when you mentioned it, I miss the Dev communication.

I love this idea, it makes Legion feel more threatening, fun, and scary to play against. I REALLY hope the devs listen to this one, it's friccin sweet, but hoping probably ain't worth it :/

All these suggestions are great except your last one. You shouldn't be able to down players with Legion's very basic micromanagement. Legion's ability to keep people injured and mending is already keeping people off generators. Downing with an ability that is constant 150% doesn't offer any counterplay to that survivor. It's not hard to get hits with feral frenzy (which is fine when it can only injure).
The decrease in stun per hit is a great idea though.
I support the ability to get the power up more often too. It's weaker than spirits power by miles. Should have it up at thrice the speed.

Would it really be that unfair though? The times where you manage to even hit 3 survivors much less 4 are pretty rare. It would force survivors to play smart against a legion and punish them for grouping up. Mending does keep them off gens, but not for long since it only slows them down for about 12 seconds. It would also allow him to have more pressure since the Legion could throw survivors in a panic if they are too close together.

My current idea for his power is this, i also agree that you should be rewarded for chaining frenzy hits
For each hit in frenzy you gain a token. Tokens are consumed when frenzy ends.
- Nothing
- Reduced feral frenzy fatigue
- Reduced feral frenzy fatigue and all survivors affected by deep wounds are revealed by killer instinct for 5 seconds.
- When feral frenzy ends you go into a fatal frenzy, your movement speed is drastically reduced for 2 seconds before moving at 5.2 m/s it then lasts for 8 seconds during which your attacks injure and down survivors, hitting survivors in this state adds 4 seconds to it’s duration. Survivors affected by deep wounds in your terror radius are revealed by killer instinct during this time.

I have no issues with fps affecting my hits on xbox
during lag spikes yes but those are not common enough to justify legion being mindless with frenzy.

Series X?
I know the FPS issues are fixed there, but I can literally go into my Recently Played list and ask people for clips of their game freezing/dropping frames whenever they use FF.

No xbox 1 i've had it since it came out basically.
i don't have issues with frames that much and it shouldn't be changed because of frames on console.

It should be taken into consideration, especially considering its likely that most players play on Console. I use the One X and I (and most others) have massive FPS issues.
Additionally, "aim dressing" can screw you over HARD in FF. Giving an extra swing isn't that big of a deal.
