If the cooldown was 40 seconds on all tiers, multiple people could be exposed with make your choice at the same time. The cooldown doesn't begin once the exposed status effect runs out, it starts the second that the unhooker is exposed.

Oh no, 2 survivors are exposed at the same time for 20 seconds, such a big of deal.
Especially when we remember that usually first exposed survivor is downed in first 10-15 seconds.

Imo the cooldown justifies the strength of the perk. At t3 anything less than 60s would break the perk imo not only that, this perk is mostly valuable on killer with high mobility such as Spirit, Nurse, Blight, ave Frederick.
If any cooldown on killers is BS, look at Thrilling Tremors, Surge, Opression. Hell Hex: Blood Favor is a HEX PERK WITH A COOLDOWN

It's a perk that allows you to snowball pretty heavily in its current form, it may not be the best perk in the game but it certainly doesn't need any adjustments right now.

I'm pretty sure OP's problem is that it's, technically, stronger at Tier 1 than it is at Tier 3.

Yes I have read the post, and have now determined that not only are you incorrect, but you're slow if you do not understand it. You said it yourself, most of the time you down them in ten seconds. You get a *free* down every 60 seconds, what's the problem with that? Lower it to 40 seconds and that's 20 entire seconds two people can be exposed at once. A lot can happen in 20 seconds, so it does not need a damn change. Calm yourself so you can understand just how stupid that proposal is.

MYC is basically old Discordance tier-wise. They need to rework (not nerf) it in a way they did it for Discordance because MYC 1 is literally the best version of the perk atm.

This was definetly not a perk I expected anyone to complain about.
It gives you the same amount of exposed effect on rescuer as the cooldown. Its definetly not worse overall.

Technically it doesn't get worse per tier.
For one you must be 32m for it to activate away so closing that gap can take a while on less mobile killers and at tier 3 you have 20 more seconds to catch them.
The cooldown also matches the length of time the survivor is exposed for.
It can take 50s if you run at the survivor and the survivor runs in a straight line away from you and that's not including exhaustion perks like SB.
The perk isn't that great overall imo on most killers but those who benefit from it can close that gap quicker and get still get more time to down someone as you still need to find them afterall.
If the time was shorter then it would make the perk even less viable for anyone but high mobility killers.

Certain Bloodwebs can and will force you to level it up (Believe me I have gotten shoved into Discordance 2 before out of my first 10 bloodwebs before its change)

The reasoning behind the cooldown and the exposed time being the same, is that the perk is not intended to make more than one player exposed at the same time.

Reduce exposed timer to 40 seconds then and make cd last 40 seconds and return to old distance scaling on tier (40-36-32 meters or how much was it i dont remember), is it hard?

I'm pretty certain the scaling won't come back, perks were standardized with distance etc some time ago now (this was done many, many patches ago). As for any other changes, that's not for me to say. But your post is in the correct sub forum and I am sure that if the game designers are thinking of changing the perk for any reason, it is something they will consider.
