Lets make Whisperes basekit if..
Survivors are inactive/refusing to do gens or anything else for a long time.
This would fix survivors holding killers hostage.
EDIT: It also could make sense lorewise, since the entity doesnt want to get bored. ;P

We already have the crows, and sound notifications, if they are actively moving and next to other survivors that would be incredibly detrimental

if they keep moving a tiny bit, there wont come crows.
Also if they didnt changed it, even spamming gestures prevents crows.

If they wanted to they could rework the idle cows. No need to make a perk basekit.

Also i wouldnt have a problem if they made the nerfed DS basekit either.

Crows work fine if you have a brain. One perk in the game prevents crows, and that perk is niche and rarely run, and a majority of the time it's a waste of a perk slot.

Making Whispers Basekit is not the solution, but I know what you mean. When there are 2 survivors left and they both do nothing but hide, the game can be really frustrating. Sometimes you can find one of them in the basement hiding in a locker. The entity should help out in such cases, but I don't know how. But to be honest, it doesn't happen that often that the devs would care.

Crows start popping up if nothing game progressing occurs.
It not really a wide spread problem to warrent any changes. Its already a bannable offense if its clearly griefing.

Again, if they do move a tiny bit but still hide all the game without the intention to progress the game (GRIEFING) they DONT GET crows. Moving a tiny bit PREVENTS crows, no matter if they touched the last gen 50 minutes ago.

What does that have to do with a brain?
If they spam gestures or move a bit they wont get crows, theres nothing you could really do besides searching the map for hours.

And what speaks against it being basekit? I didnt even said the normal whisperes should be basekit, i meant a changed whisperes that only gets active if they didnt do ANYTHING (repairing,cleansing, chasing etc) for like 10 minutes, it should get active, not the whole game.
The only purpose of this is to fight GRIEFERS, no one else.

Also if a Survivor is just sneaking around doing nothing you still win the game. Depending on the map, it'd take less than 3 minutes to find them and then you could report them for holding the game hostage.
Also did you forget that closing the hatch starts an end game timer, so they can't hide forever? There is an issue with Exit Gate spawns, but if someone is playing like this they won't know the 15% thing with the Exit Gates, which is the only way to escape without Exit Gates on opposite sides of a large map.

What does this have to do with a hatch now? And you 100% never was in a match where they just hide, you cant find them in 3 mins without a large amount of luck. But sure, come SWF, i take a claudette and show me how you find ONE claudette in 3 minutes without any doc or whisperers.

If theyre not injured with Iron Will? If you listen well or just look around, you can find them. Also, without them running Calm Spirit, just watch crows???

You do know that if they are running crows wont fly away unless they step on them?

Go into a game and walk next to a boulder with crows on it. Or even crouch next to a crow on the ground. Just do it. It WILL fly away. You cannot traverse the map in a sneaky manner without at least a few crows flying away.

You can if you pay attention.
Maybe work on your stealth if you think you cant traverse the map without scaring crows.

Crows legit give the survivors away though, and you do have to move quite a bit to get rid of the crows, you can't just press W once and they disappear, thats not how they work. Also, if this becomes base kit i want survivors to get kindred as base kit

They wont go instantly away once they have them, but they wont even COME when they keep moving A SLIGHTLY bit.
Also i dont want Whisperes to be basekit in general, i want a changed whisperes basekit, which ONLY activates once no survor got chased or didnt touched a gen or totem or anything else for atleast 5-10 minutes. Why shouldnt this be fair? As a normal player you never will get any disadvantage from this, only the ones who are hiding in purpose.
Besides that, i wouldnt have a problem with kindred being basekit.
