He outplayed you, and you want the killer to get punished for it? Have you even tried getting better at the game????

Are you crying about the DC penalty?

You know in this situation, you give the killer exactly what they want be DCing, right? Take the points and get a new match.

Doesn't slugging the entire team until bleedout on purpose fall under keeping the game hostage?

No, keeping the game hostage means the game can't end without dcing. If the entire team is slugged till bleed out the game will end eventually, but it'll take a while.

Mandy already covered this but here is another mods take on this. I've always been of the same opinion myself as the mods but figured it could be good to have this as additional reference as why slugging is fine

I personally view being slugged as a challenge. I've escaped a decent number rift times in these situations.

Plus survivors have options to avoid being slugged

We didn't he slugged us all and let us bleed to death refused to hook anyone killers like this should be permantly banned and the devs cheers them on I mean how long did it take to get rid of ebony mori after they nerfed tool boxes killers are pampered and there is no repucussions killers can hack tunnel slug camp and survivos are the problem just play survivor for a day and see for yourself how bad it is to anyone who doesn't think killers are broken I challenge you play a day of survivor and find out for yourself this needs fixed

git gud or bring unbreakable. If you manage to get 4 man slugged by a Doctor then you deserve to lose

No, keeping the game hostage refers to specific occasions where the game will not possibly end. Slugging survivors is not a hostage situation because the survivors bleedout bar decreases so they will bleedout within a short period of time.

As I said, not reportable, not bannable and pretty much part of the game, hence there's perks in the game to help you counter the slugging mechanic - Unbreakable for example or Soul Guard if there's a hex in play.

I play both in purple/red rank. It's universally agreed upon by players who play both sides the game is more survivor favored overall but killers do have some advantages in certain ways. Ebony mori was nerfed into the ground where it's no longer worth bringing for a variety of reasons. I play both sides most days and take much more issue with what I see survivors have over killer. Survivors get ds (a free escape), keys (another free escape), dh (has invincibility frames), and this isn't including the Tom's of other options. Everything survivors consider broken for killers has counters (like do totems for noed for example) while killers don't have any direct counters to the things I mentioned. Killers have things to help mitigate the problem but not an actual counter (Franklin's makes people drop keys but anyone can still pick it up) most of the time. Seems like you should play both sides more

Hold on, though: We know slugging isn't against the rules, but the OP specifies that this doctor made everyone bleed out. He didn't hook or kill anyone, just locked them in an extended match while refusing to progress it.

This is similar to when I encountered a spirit that slugged the last survivor after others had already escaped or died, and she refused to hook or mori him, leaving him unable to do anything for about two full minutes.

Slugging isn't against the rules, but surely bleedout slugging is? The killer doesn't get any points for slug bleedouts, either, so the Doctor wasn't trying to win or bolster his score, he was specifically holding the survivors hostage in an unwinnable game.

    Again, they will eventually die.

If the killer was bodyblocking someone in a corner (and that was the last survivor/survivors) without any means to procede except the killer moving or someone dc'ing that is keeping the game hostage.

If survivors are just sneaking around not doing any objectives for 10+ minutes that is also keeping the game hostage.

Bleed-out slugging is similiar to letting the egc almost run out and then escape as the survivor (ofc it's not perfect similiarty as the killer can most likely just shoo the survivors from the game)

Sounds to me like they are punishing the babies.

It's not holding hostage. Holding hostage means the Killer is forcing the game to go on indefinitely. If the game will definitely forcibly end in a few minutes if nothing is done, it is by BHVR's definition not holding hostage.

So no, "bleedout slugging" is not against the rules.
