Reworking Perks: Blood Warden and Camaraderie
Hello and welcome back to another addition of Reworking Perks. And this time I'm reworking Blood Warden and Camaraderie since they are lack luster. So here are the changes
Blood Warden
As soon as the exit gates are powered Blood Warden can activate. When you hook a survivor blood warden blocks both the exit gates and hatch for 30/40/50 seconds.
Blood Wardens timer starts as soon as the exit gates are open.
Camaraderie
Life has taught you the importance of friendship which has given you strength.
When you or another survivor are on the hook in the struggle phase Camaraderie activates and the struggle phase is replaced with skill checks
When another survivor is within 16 meters of your hook or you are within 16 meters of their hook while Camaraderie is active the struggle timer is paused for 25/30/35 seconds and you will not receive skill checks.
How are these changes? I really want your opinion please.

that Blood Warden would be too op ngl..i could quite literally just slug and wait out the end game timer and pretty much 4k every time..

Your right. I have a bad habit of making perks ridiculous overpowered. I will think of something else.

Honestly all blood warden would need is a 10 second exit block after gates are opened. It'll automatically make 99ing gates a risk.

Or have gates regress slowly if you let go, even if that effect only happens when using the perk.

Blood Warden just needs to be changed so that hooking a survivor once the gates are powered will automatically trigger the effect once the gate has been opened.

IMO for blood warden they should make it so when you hook someone it blocks the gates for 40/50/60 seconds but if you hook a survivor while the perk is activated it pauses the timer so when you hook a survivor to activate blood warden the timer will not count down until the survivor is unhooked and when you hook a survivor the timer stops.

That's way too strong.

As a Noed + BW user, it would be too op...
The current BW gives you 2 choices
- Open a gate before hooking (which is obvious)
- Work hard to trick survivor open gate themselves just doomed by your surprise BW.
Auto block gate if hook a survivor once when 5 Gen done will give Killer win-win choices:
- By 99' gate, survivor may have a really tough time to find Noed & unhooking. Open the gate just to realize BW activated.
- Early open gate may help them abit through BW early count down. But it will put pressure on survivor alot because BW block the gate for half of EGC time.
I agree with idea that BW may just need 15sec blocking the gates once a gate is opened. It gives survivors 2 choices of early open gates or risking of 99'. 60sec is auto win.
