Left Behind Buff Concept
When the Hatch is closed, you see the Hatch and Killer's auras for 5 seconds with a loud noise notification. (much like a popped gen or the powered exit gates with a bubble)
This way, Left Behind provides a little extra information on the Killer's current position if you don't get the Hatch, making it a little more useful in endgame scenarios where you're waiting for the Killer to close the Hatch and use an Exit Gate.

A quite good idea ngl

I support it.

really good buff. you can tell if you should continue opening an exit gate or hide. i doubt they are going to make the change due to the perk being really insignificant but i do support it

This would actually make running the perk worth it in my opinion

I already don’t like the current effect of the perk. Having perks like this and Sole Survivor (where you benefit from other survivors being dead) is unhealthy for the game, in my opinion. You’ll just have even more teammates waiting out their fellow survivors’ deaths for a more guaranteed escape with a change like this. It’s ironic, because Bill instead was “left behind” as a sacrifice for the good of his friends.
As for an alternative? I’m not really sure honestly. I wouldn’t mind if he got an insane amount of speed boost again. What if it applied a 200% boost to all actions as the last living survivor?

I find it strange that you think Left Behind is unhealthy because it increases the chances of an escape, and then suggest an idea that makes it SUPER easy to open the Exit Gates as the last Survivor.

This mostly comes down to subjective visions of what the game should be like, but I personally think that Survivors sometimes deciding to ditch teamplay in exchange for playing selfishly is part of DbD's intended design and probably for the best.
A scenario like Survivors camping the Exit Gates for the whole duration of the game can be more frustrating, but I think that's a question best left for universal mechanics rather than Perk balance. To my understanding it's also a pretty fringe scenario, as most people who play like that will usually at least try to win the game the traditional way first, and give up if it goes poorly.
