not gonna say anything but i think there should be a penalty for body blocking because it ruins the fun and exciting gameplay for killers. (im not a killer main but whenever i play its very annoying cu im just trying to have fun)

More than 1 body block is annoying because it possibly makes u can't hook.

    "forced penance" 🤣

The Broken status is really weak. All four survivors play injured just fine against The Legion, and Forced Penance only applies to one person, not four. Then, to add insult to injury, Forced Penance has a cooldown.

Though it does not have a cool down but I still won't use it. If I'm broken I'll just go do gens, 80 seconds are just enough

Sometimes I get body block to the point there's no room just to drop them.

Why would they penalize something that is intentionally rewarded because the entire game is balanced and designed around that being a way to protect your teammates?

I would say the exception is if you have borrowed time and you shove yourself in a killer's face; if you ever do that and they wait it out and tunnel you, just know you deserve it even if they eat the DS and still kill you. You don't get to whine about Tunneling in that scenario is all lol.

just take mad grit. Once the suviors knows you have it, they wont ever do the body blocking.. you have 3 other perks that are also good for body blocking, so it's really not a issue.

The only problems with bodyblocking are BT/Endurance effect, Sabo Squads and when you're at the endgame and not tunneling.

I am okay with endurance effect when it's not BT, sabo protection hits, and the rest because that's all just fair gameplay.

BT ticks me off because you are trying not to tunnel, but as soon as it's in their favor and safe they are like "Yes tunnel me, tunnel me now!" but If you give them what they want I bet they complain post game.

Penalties for that isn't a good idea. As a survivor, the aim is to stop a hook if you feel there's a chance to do so. The killer hasn't achieved its aim until it has that body hooked.

Besides, it can also work in the killer's favour: the extra hits forces survivors into healing, causing gen pressure. Sometimes, survivors misjudge amd actually get downed themselves, so it's a fair trade.

    Ultimately, if they're body-blocking, they aren't doing gens. That's a good thing.

sometimes if that happens i hit the other survivor if they are smart enough or not to leave up to them i will just get them down near the hook or drop the other survivor. they either leave or i get them down.

not sure it is something to get a penalty.

This happens often though with high ranks, or they are there with their flashlight. fun times...

Bodyblocking rewards the survivor for being a good and reliable teammate with protection points, and a WGLF stack if you're running it.

You know what I think would be fun? If there were a killer who injured you automatically if you touched them -- like an acid monster or something. And then no one could body block them, or crouch in their blind spot, and people who get super annoyed by that stuff would have someone to play.

I mean body blocking is only possible by swfs and only sometimes does it even work. Most the time it doesnt work and then the whole team is injured which benefits you. It might not be fun but survivors could argue camping and tunneling isnt either. Id suggest using the perk Mad Grit to help you out.

That’s not true. I body block in solo lobbies all the time. If somebody has been getting carried for a while I’ll take a hit at the hook to see if they can wiggle free.

I'm sorry survivors are only trying to be altruistic.

You don't have to hit bodyblocking survivors, and it's a valid strategy for spreading out the pain. Plus, most bodyblockers expect to take a hit and be ignored, so you can target them then.
