Is anyone else worried about hex: crowd control
Okay i’m not gonna lie, i’m kinda concerned that hex crowd control will be too powerful. Based off what i’ve seen l it thrives in early game and helps get a lot of pallets down early so it being a hex doesn’t really hurt the perk.
In early game, a good survivor will save pallets and rotate threw different jungle gyms but hex crowd control completely cancels that giving you two options: throw more pallets down early game or have to move around the map while looping and potentially lead the killer to people that are working of gens.
Hex crowd control is going to be amazing on killers with insta down, yes bubba and billy, i’m looking at you.
Windows is the most important thing to use in chase and crowd control completely negates using them effectively which is obviously concerning. Now i’m not saying it will be too powerful but for obvious reasons a lot of people including myself are worried it will be. Take my opinion with a grain of salt though because i also thought for the people was going to be a meta perk but it’s actually fairly balanced.
What are you people thinking? Do you think it will get nerfed?

im not worried about this hex, we can always chcek if killer has that perk with q&q at the start of the match and if killer has it we can seek it and cleans it

I think it'll be cool to have a powerful, possibly meta hex perk that isn't Ruin

It'll be annoying, but not overpowered. Not really worried tbh

That is completely wrong. Gens is the main object but not the only, unhooking ie also an objective that the killer has too manually force. By hooking people your giving the survivors more objectives. dO BoNeS.

Hex: Undying + Crowd Control = better not get caught cleansing.

It's a hex perk. That alone should tell you it's weakness.

One advantage of H:CC is that it can block multiple windows, making tiles like TL walls useless.
To answer the question: no, I am not really concerned about the new Hex, I am quite excited about it. Finding the totem will become a matter of resource efficiency for the team and it might bring more complexity to the game.

Hex: Survivors Bamboozle Themselves
----
My only problem with "do bones" is when it comes to NOED. You have to do all the bones, regardless of gens completed

Survivors say they want a secondary objective and hexes give them it(The lightbringer aka objective score category gains points when you cleans totem and more for hex totems).
Then they complain when they actually have it.
What a surprise!
That tangent aside its a fairly ok perk that is ENTIRELY in the survivor's control unlike bamboozle which is its 2nd main balancing factor outside of being a hex perk.
If you get downed because of it its entirely your own fault.

It will fix bad loop design. I can see people running it with Undying. Or they can keep using Bamboozle. Or both. It's a hex after all, so it'll probably be gone in the first minute.

Not everything you disagree with is a Sluzzy alt.

It's good but not really that powerfull. It stops survivors that only know how to run the one busted loop in every map but that's about it.
It's a healthy perk in that it makes chases more dynamic while still leaving options for the survivor. They still are at the other side of a vault so they can still look to chain loops or use the pallet.
Sadly for a perk to be really good it needs to be stronger then that. It's not a perk you would be ashamed of of running but it's nothing really to write home about.

At the end of the day it's still a Hex. You could run it with undying but then you'd be out of two perk slots once they're gone, can't use it in a full Hex build since there's just far better options too. Aside from really meme'y builds I don't think it's going to become meta any time soon and I think Bamboozle is better overall since you'll always have it with you no matter what and you get complete control over it's activation.

that perk is just bamboozle with a hex stamped on it.

Why worry? it's a Hex so it will be gone in 30 seconds

I'm not worried about it being too good per say, but what type of gameplay it will promote. Holding shift W is already stupidly good, and Crowd control will just promote that more. Bad survivors will throw pallets, good ones will just force an M1 and W across the map. So I don't think it'll be a op perk, just another that promotes unhealthy gameplay.

Just let you know I’m pretty sure totems fall under boldness, not objective, when it comes to score events.

It's a hex perk. It's supposed to be powerful. It can literally be removed.

This perk is gonna be scary on Twins and Bubba. Like, REALLY scary.

I was referring to emblems hence why I brought up the objective emblem "Lightbringer" instead of blood points.
I honestly think the only reason why they are boldness BP is the risk of killer protecting hex totems and giving boldness BP in games where the killer is afk or has been looped for 5 gens.

Definitely not too strong. I'm not sure if it's even strong enough to be a hex perk. Like...there's bamboozle. Can't be destroyed and also gives faster vaults to killer.
Recently, I have encountered many survivors that like to throw pallets like they were infinite resource. Wait behind them to stun me and drop them against Feral Frenzy. And yet, there have been pallets left at the endgame to save them. There are many problems in this game, but too few pallets is not one of them.

Survivors say they want a second mandatory, primary, engaging objective. Holding M1 isn't engaging, neither is totem hunting in solo. In swf, ofc, it's significantly easier and can actually be done consistently

The only thing I'm concerned about are TLs. They will absolutely be useless while this hex is active and some maps like Suffocation Pit they are the only structures you can find.

Oh don’t worry you’ll still be able to do five gens before the second hook.

It's literally the only perk I care about on the killer side. I really want to try running Ruin, Tinkerer, Undying and Crowd Control together on my Bubba.

So what. It may prevent your pallet loops and give the killer a better chance.

And?

The hex I find funny is blood favour a really rubbish perk yet its a hex with a cool down.
0 -
Also can I just say as well why can't killers get a strong perk (which by the way can be removed quickly).
0 -
I think it's honestly very weak for a hex.
Devour hope lets you kill a survivor
Crowd control blocks a fast vaulted window
See the difference?
It sounds strong but i think it just means survivors will have to plan their routing a bit better.
