DS nerf is too harsh
They’ve killed the perk, there’s no reason to use it anymore. After getting unhooked you either do nothing for 60 seconds ( which is stupid) or you start healing/working on a gen which immediately disables it. I think they should go back to the old DS but change the time it’s active from 60 secs to 30 secs. In a few weeks, killers will start tunneling everyone because no one has DS anymore. SoloQ will be hell.

There IS reason to use it. To (temporarily) fend off a killer who is actually, legitimately tunneling. If you aren't being tunneled, you won't get use out of ds. If you ARE being tunneled, the amount of time it'll take the killer to fully get you out of the game is plenty of time for the majority of generators to be finished, since if you're being tunneled, nobody else is being chased and should be on generators. If you get actually tunneled to death from the start of the game, and generators don't pop left and right, that's on the survivors for being inefficient.

I dont mind the change to be honest, just wish healing didnt disable it.

If you let someone else heal you, it doesn't disable it I'm pretty sure.

DS exists as a defense if the killer tries to tunnel you off hook.
If you are doing something to progress the game, you are doing the objective. Therefore, you are not being tunneled. Therefore, you are fair game.
If the killer tries to tunnel you off hook, hop in a locker or something. Slug you? Unbreakable still exists and now won't have the stigma attached to it now that DS has been nerfed.

One way to make a DS Survivor inefficient. SLUG HIM. respect DS, thats 30 secs of inefficiency for slugged survivor, survivor off gen because of healing, PLUS ruin thats regresses GEN for you.

It's almost like an anti-tunneling perk. What's wrong with you that you need some invulnerability time to play the game? There are lots of other ways to play like an ass.

Yeah, perfect for SWF. Nightmare for solo queue. Some people apparently really really wanted to destroy SOLO SURVIVORS (weakest point in DBD) and leave SWF pretty much the same. Such a smart and necessary move lol.
This is such a bad, pointless nerf of the perk. They need to make it as it was before and completely re-think an actually proper way to do it.

I play survivor mostly and I'm all for the nerf. It might actually make some of survivors to play more smart and bit more stealthy instead of rushing gens and unhooks in killer's face like it was for so long.

But THIS would require the killer to tunnel you. You are basically saying you should make DS inefficient by doing exactly what it is supposed to prevent, but then letting the survivor get the full benefit anyway. If you feel safe enough to work on gens, heal someone else, or do bones, you are not being tunneled. It is meant to be an anti-tunneling perk, not a minute of invincibility.
