New Lobby is Terrible
Why is everyone so dark and blackened out but me? Part of the fun of the lobby screen is seeing other people’s costumes and such. Now everyone is so dark it’s hard to tell. Not to mention it looks really silly. My survivor is lit up like a bright neon sign and right next to me is three shadows I can barely make out.

It's still perfectly visible with me, are you sure that you haven't messed with your graphics card settings?

I’m on PS4 so no. It’s just a lot of the survivors are darkened out. I can tell who they are but not what they are wearing cause they look like shadows.

Eek, I've never played on console but I've heard it's not exactly optimized. I would put this under bug reports.

This is what I’m encountering. Why is Bill highlighted and the others darkened? Honestly though they are usually even more darkened. Almost a shadow

I like the lobby but I don't think the new lobby or the Trickster suit Dead By Daylight. I feel like DBD is supposed to have more of a grungy aesthetic to it not bright and colourful. Maybe that's why Trickster doesn't have a map?

I didn’t mean the look. Apparently for me all the survivors are darkened and shadowed now. Ever since the update.

I'm on ps4 and it look like that for me too.

They are actually lighter in that photo. I usually get even darker outlines of the survivors. So dark I can barely make out what they are wearing.

Yeah it's supposed to be like that it's really weird I assume it has something to do with the lighting.

This reminds me of a while back when I kept complaining about how dark the game was for about a month. Then my tv fizzled out and died. New tv fixed the problem!
It may be a similar issue for you. If there’s another tv in your house, maybe hook you PS4 up to it and test it out. In the meantime, try adjusting the “contrast” in your tv settings.

It’s not my tv and it would be weird that only the survivors are darkened and nothing else.

I'm on PC and noticed this as well, as did at least one other person in a discord I'm at. I actually really like the aesthetic and would love to see a map like this (I know, they're not making new maps right now), but the most rightward survivor in the lobby plus my killer look like they're shopped over the scene. Like they're standing in front of a green screen. It's very strange.

It's not just the lobby though, the post-match screen has some horrid rendering issue that floods the area with light and makes it look extremely low graph and unpolished. Pretty sure shadows are gone from lobby and post-game too.

Well, there might be a general breakdown in the lighting system that is causing both issues.

Alright, here's a couple screens. First is to show how before entering a lobby your character look like they're standing in front of a green screen,
the 2nd shows how weirdly dark most of the survivors look in a lobby. Their names were blanked out just for habit's sake.

Agreed. This new lobby made me realise how much we need Lobby Customisation.

Yes, I noticed that the end game screen now looks terrible compared to what it was.
Hopefully it's something the Dev's are working on.
