Ehh sorry, I don't think your wish shall be granted or it's at least extremely unlikely.
The only thing you can do is imagine it's still there and smash your spacebar through the skill checks anyway.

Why though? Could you at least make the skillcheck zone be like 90 or even 100% of the circle? So that it would still be possible to smash space.
I think there is no point in making resisting to a spider thing related to "reaction". It seems more like tedious holding.

you can still die on hook by not completing the skill checks, you lose a bunch of the bar each time one is missed.

I said the same thing. Considering how broken it can be to sometimes spam struggle and the game doesn't register it so you die anyway... this should be fun. I cant tell you how many times ive hit a skillcheck and it failed anyway lol. I'd rather have the option to not have either one. Even if it was less than 10% of games, that struggle bug and skillcheck bug don't need to exist and it seriously needs to be looked at because its actually gamebreaking.

Thankfully, the new struggle system has the bonus of interfering with what you are describing.

If i get unhooked in time when i clearly don't want to be there, i just alt tab and do what i was doing while in lobby. It's not like I'm gonna keep playing
