How difficult it is to make lighting different for survivors and killers?
Basically survivors see everything way darker than killers do.
To me such bright lighting in a freaking horror game is just insulting. Especially on maps like farm or crotus prenn.
I remember how things were in 2016 and it just looked way scarier than it does now.
Like c`mon, game is called dead by daylight, but it seems that daylight has already begun.
And Dead dawg saloon definitely never heard about that saying "The darkest hour is that before the dawn".

That is correct, and I dare say not only the maps, but the lobby and main menu as well. The game had a much better, and creepy, aesthetic. It should return.

I’d rather it not return since blendettes are already hard to see

You don't always need dark lightning to make a creepy aesthetic. Some maps could use it, like Hawkins, The Game, Coldwind Farms. Part of it is the sight distance. Some of the creepiest games I've seen or played were from the PSX era where the reduced draw distance and unsettling audio really disturbed you. Silent Hill and LSD are some great examples of this. The new reworked maps have next to no fog, and even less LoS blockers than before. Now you can see miles in every direction and there's simply a lot less "unknown" from a visual standpoint.
Not when you play one a lot. lol She also isn't universally good for hiding in plain sight on some maps compared to other survivors.

Yeah, that works too :)
You see, there are tools to deal with Blendettes (and this comes from a Claudette main). I don't think the fact that they sometimes are hard to see should prevent the old and scarier ambience from returning.
Well, you know me, my friend. There are lots of things that I would like to bring back to the game, and this is definitely one of them.

Fair enough. It would be nice if they at least brightened up her shirt a bit. Another major issue was with the moonlight offerings not working on indoor maps.
I would like to see splinters return though. I have no clue why they removed them

Oh, Moonlight offerings are also interesting. I think Claudette's shirt could be brightened up if Moonlight offerings were to return, because we both know a few players here and there would try to use the New Moon Bouquet and literally disappear. Also, I think the Full Moon Bouquet should have its rarity decreased to "rare".
As for Splinters, I agree. I really want them back and just thinking about kinda makes me angry because of how many Bloodpoints I've spent trying to stockpile them.

Darker? I think its way easier to see with survivor.

Game is dark for survivors. Bright (more or less) for killers.

Some maps are already really dark anyway (swamp and badham mainly) so I’d rather not have my vision impaired for the “spooks”

These maps are anything but dark

not dark enough? i cant see ######### on reworked autohaven. its awful. worse then before. those green shadows just make it sooo bad...
Dont you understand that this game isnt about horror, but about gameplay now? cuz it definitely is.
