Raise The Max Bloodpoints Cap To 1 Billion

That way I can save a ton instead of repeatedly spending every 15 games or more. Also, raise the amount of BPs for dailies like it use to be. 30k isn't doing nothing for no one with this many perks. Thank you.

We got so many survivors and killers now, 1 Mil is barely a level 50. It's just too much for a cap.

They don't want people banking tons of BP, so that the instant a new killer/survivor comes out, they can Prestige 3 and max out their perks right away. The grind keeps people playing.

It's like any MMO. For example, FFXIV. It has a weekly cap on Tomestones, the endgame currency used for the best gear, so that people play regularly and often, instead of binging in one sitting, acquiring all of their gear at once and then not playing for 3 months until the next patch hits.

The amount of killers and survivors now is too damn high and the amount of perks in this game would never be reached for a long time. It would take a billion to max 1 killer with all perks currently.

The current cap of 1 million gets you roughly to level 40, which unlocks that characters teachables.

That's about the most you can expect to get the moment the patch drops. Anything more than that, you have to work for IN that patch, not before it.

That's why I suggested it to be changed. There's a TON of survivors and killers now.

FFXIV and DBD aren't similar. People play DBD for the actual gameplay. In FFXIV, after you've done everything you want, there's nothing for you outside of acquiring better gear. Bloodpoint cap needs to be removed and the grind alleviated.

Also ######### this isn't even an MMO--

As a compromise I say they should raise to 2 million at least. Especially since it’s been 5 years of this game.

I do understand their point of not wanting people to instantly max out new killers and survivors the second they drop. I think a better solution is just going to be alleviating the grind in other ways I.E making dailies and challenges worth more, making perks spawn more, etc.

I do think raising the cap to 2 or 2.5 million would be a good compromise though, still doesn't let you max people out instantly but does let you at least get them to level 50.

The only thing the bloodcap is doing currently is keeping you from doing 1 character to max. Put bloodpoints in and redo, put bloodpoints in and redo. We have way too many survivors and killers. It's just a QOL update to help. Everyone keeps saying new this and new that. What about the other 35 killers and the other 34 survivors in the list? That's too damn many to level up with a 1 mil bloodcap. If we're ONLY worrying about NEW killers/survivors and we're gimping ourselves over it, that's just insane. They release 2 new characters every 3 months. 2 every 3 months. That increases the amount of perks by 6, 300 extra bloodwebs for both characters and that's not including the perks and tiers. That's far too much.

They should make the grind way less not increase the cap. I don't want to go against the newest killer/survivor P3 with all the perks & ultra rare add-ons, because you know that's exactly what people will do

I think 1 billion is a bit much, on my stats on Xbox I haven't even got 1 billion BP (On Xbox it shows you bloodpont statistics) and I have 900 hours in the game but I think raising it to 5 million would be good

I like the idea of sacrificing levels of devotion for unique cosmetics.. if you’re devotion level 2 you can donate the pool of devotion and choose a cosmetic for your character, medkits, beamera etc which resets your devotion back to 0. Other option is to continue grinding devotion and saving the original 2 to put it towards a level 10 unique choice... 20, 30, 100.... devotion that high is unobtainable in the near future but a reward for proving a very high devotion would and should be incredibly rare.

Increase the cap, and also make it so all perks that "Gain X BP faster" works like BBQ and Chili/WGLF; they don't just give you extra BP earned in game, they increase that type of BP earned out of game.

There was an awesome idea in a different post that I was reading. When you prestige a CHARACTER, you get to choose 1 perk from their list to unlock for all other characters permanently. That means you unlock WGLF with David King at Prestige 1 and now every character you have currently will automatically have it at Tier 3 for free to use whenever. It would give more reason for Prestiging and before people freak out about the grind halting, there are still a ton of perks that aren't tied to killers/survivors in the game that would still have to be unlocked normally. They could also throw an oddball perk into the pool per release that isn't tied to a character to keep some of the grind. I really liked the idea.
