Rift too Grindy?
I finished allllllllllll the challenges, I play so many hours, and I still have TEN, yes TEN levels to complete the rift.
Isn't it too grindy?

They said next one will be easier to get. Instead of 800 xp for a fragment you will only need 500 I think

I reached level 70 a month ago, so no.

It didn't do all the challenges, maybe in the next Rift.. but yea I think you nedd to grind a lot. But it isn't too bad in my opinion. My problem is more that the challenges forces you many times to play like an ass. If you want to do some things in one match or you need to do it in one match, you need to play like an completely ######### for it and sometimes you'll ruin the match for your mates, the Killer or the Survivors. But I don't have an Idea how to do the challenges better either.

Same here, and the rewards aren't even worth it.
But with lvl 60 it still pays itself with the auric cells you earn, so I still bought the premium pass

Have you played other battle passes. Im curious because dbd battle pass is imo the worst bar maybe some deliberately disgusting ea sudios style games.
Hours wise how much dbd do you play and for your average person who will likely be playing more games then dbd and will potentially be working longer hours is it fair to make the pass so grindy they will never reach the end bar unless they spend money on levels.

Also, the problem is that now I have 10 whole levels to GRIND without any challenges, and I get like 1 rift per game? It'll take me 100 more games to complete? Kinda insane and unbalanced.

It's incredibly grindy for a subpar battlepass. You get no boosts for buying it, there's no bp or shards in it, the recolored charms all look alike & if it's a survivor charm good luck telling the difference. If you go to work and/or school full time then you're just SOL for getting to complete it.

Oh, correction - I'm only half through lvl 59 XD
Damn, playing a game and seeing the rift level going 1/10 is so stupidly discouraging.... geez. only 105 more games I guess............................................?! Just insanely grindish. I should not play 100+ more games even after completing all challenges. And there's not sufficient time to do so.
Sorry for having to work and provide for myself-_-

Not going to lie, yesterday I shamefully bought auric cells to finish the rest of the rift and to have enough to purchase the next premium pass. I haven't been in the mood to play DBD recently but have played it anyway to progress through the rift. I completed ALL but 2 challenges. I think I got to tier 52.
I knew even before I bought more auric cells to finish the rift that that is what BHVR is hoping players do out of fear of missing out. But I did so anyway. Every other rift I've finished. This rift is definitely too grindy.

That's a really scumbag move from BHVR.
They have been making some really dubious, unprofessional and anti-player decisions.
It feels like they have lost the passion for their game and they're only focused on how to screw over players to milk more money nowadays.
They introduce a "chat filter" in a 18+ game that censors stupid things, without the option to disable it. They make the rift way too grindy and unfair. I mean, who's in charge of those ######### decisions?
They are really turning into one of those EA shitfast money-ONLY driven companies with little to non quality assurance. Making this rift SO grindy to make people buy/spend auric cells is such a cheap move.
And its not like the rift is full of nice stuff, lol no. I will not spend money / auric cells to advance in this rift, whatever. Both because it doesn't have anything that justifies that, and I'm against companies that make it obvious they're cheaping out on their loyal playerbase and customers and a way that makes me feel its unfair.

I'd honestly rather it be an increase in the required amount of xp per shard.
Shard 1 = 100 xp
Shard 2 = 200 xp
Shard 8 = 800 xp
So forth. This would lessen the grind massively while still preventing you from blowing through the rift.

I haven't done all of the challenges and I typically just play a few games in the evening before bed and I finished the rift a long time ago. They've never really felt "grindy" to me, because it's just cosmetics. There aren't Shards or BPs in the rift so I don't really feel obligated to get those levels ASAP unless there just happens to be a cosmetic in one that I really really want.
And even then Rift cosmetics are being added to the store now, so I'm not worried about missing out in the long run either.

Far too grindy, I may not actually get to level 70 by the time it closes. This time. The challenges were far grindier this time around as well.

Challenges were insane this time around, and it really isn't that rewarding, hopefully they will tweak it soon

We gotta keep in mind the amount of hours needed minimum to put into the rift and the tomes, and also consider the lack of time that people have in order to complete it. IMO, doing all tome challenges completely unlocks the rift.
