Killer's dropping survivors should have 4% of dropping them in the injured state.

So a Billy downs 3 of my team all in proximity to the one on hook. I wait patiently for him to pick someone else up. Finally he does and is going for the hook. He turns around and sees me going for the save. Guess what he does? Drops the survivor to come insta down me.

Honestly why is this a mechanic? Why would a killer ever drop a survivor?

This is honestly the reason hook saboing is done for laughs and not actual plays. I bet there's ACTUAL non-negotiable statistics that back this up too. I came here ready to say that dropping a survivor by choice should not be an option at all for killers. But some toxic killers will complain so instead I propose adding a luck %

If the killer decides to drop they must face the risk that the survivor will be dropped in the injured state versus dying state.

Are you seriously saying you have never seen a horror movie where the killer disregards a potential victim he has dead to rights to try to get greedy and go after a second?

50/50 player here who actually loves running sabo build in solos (Sabo, Break Out, Empathy, MoM)

This is an extremely bad mechanic. Killers have many reasons to down survivors, like in situations like this where it was smart to drop them to go after you or that there just arent any near by hooks even if one wasnt sabotaged.

The killer shouldnt lose momentum just because he made the right play.

Why would a killer ever drop a survivor?

Well you see, when a survivor sabotages a hook in front of the killer, and there are no close hooks, and the survivor is about to wiggle off, would it not make sense to drop the survivor? You do realize that this is actually more favorable to the survivors right? Because the killer misses out on a hook state.

I drop survivors to go after others all the time, you literally answered your own question.

Also "Someone beat me, the rules should be changed!" is the attitude of a spoiled child.
