Soldier's Putte: Problem? Or not?
A new add-on for Huntress? Woah, cool.
In my opinion, it's not really that good.
So, opinions on this?
Oh boy, im out of hatchets, lets go use this add-on instead of getting my hachets which would be the optimal thing to do! GoobyNugget.

Might be a bit of a hot take but I like where they're going with the new ultra-rare addons.
They should be dumb gimmicks instead of straight upgrades that only the players with tons of BP to burn get to use.

Huntress does not chase without hatchets unless the survivor is body blocking or something.

For fun. Not like you can exactly pick and choose what addons you buy anyways.
Tombstone is objectively inferior to tombstone piece but combining it with infinite T3 is pretty neat.
I just think that one-time use powerups that drastically enhance a killer's power diminish the game's competitiveness and are frankly unnecessary.

It’s so terrible and boring. There’s never a scenario a good Huntress will be in where they don’t have any hatchets.

I agree they should be gimmicks rather than omnipotent upgrades, but I disagree that they should be dumb gimmicks.

I think it goes well with new iri head. If you have this and iri head, plus iron maiden, you'll reload a LOT faster. It's very much a dumb gimmick and nowhere near the same level of power as other Ultra Rares (e.g. Fragrant Tuft), but it's a cool addon that will probably be broken somehow in a week

I think iri addons in general are a bad idea and very hard to balance right. They shouldn't be crazy good or even that good at all because how is it fair that you can just use an addon to make your killer way better than normal? Imagine if in any fighting game you can just attach something to your character to buff them for no reason, it would be unfair.

This is a brown add-on that they gave ultra-rare rarity to because they ran out of ideas for Huntress add-ons. Like I really don't know what else would've drove them to do this other than they had no ideas for strong add-ons for her. They couldn't have added ricochet hatchets or something? Or maybe an effect like "if you land 3 hatchets without missing, 1 is returned to you"

It's a pretty decent add on imo, myn't make STBFL viable on huntress.

Weird and boring.
Weird cause it revolves around her not having her Killer Power, which is like the opposite of every Add-on ever.
Boring cause again: It's about not having her Killer Power, one of the reasons why you chose to play her.
Really would've liked to see something else, like an Add-on that makes the Hunting Hatchets return to her hand once they collide with something, dealing damage to any Survivors on the return-trip.

It not a game changing add-on like most of the iridescent.
It also lazy and stale, would like to Have an add-on that encourages different way to use an ability if it possible to do so and fun for everyone.
This doesn't change the way on how the ability work not fun for everyone. When I saw it, I felt nothing but pure disappointment.

the addon isnt that bad. if you run out of hatchets at a loop you become 115

Imo this should be base and they should give a better ultra rare instead (maybe even a faster movement speed for this would be fine).
Iri got nerfed too hard as well. Give base 2 hatchets and cap at 2 is much more reasonable. Now iri is potentially one of her worst addons for her which is terrible terrible ultra rare to be bad for a killer
