What does it mean when people say these?
Hello, everyone! So I started playing this game around two months ago, mainly sticking to survivor but have played some killer, and while exploring DBD content I see people say stuff like "oh this map is terrible for [killer]" or "this map is so survivor sided" and those terms have confused me. My question is, what do those particularly mean? Are some maps not best suited to some killers or?
I'm sorry if this is a stupid question but I felt like I needed to ask. Thanks again!

Maps are considered to be survivor-sided (or bad for killers) because it's hard for killers to catch up with survivors that are running away.
Example: Lampkin Lane has lots of houses where the survivor can run upstairs, jump out a window, run back into the house and keep repeating. Every killer will struggle to catch up in these spots.
Maps are killer-sided if there are large areas with no windows or pallets, or if several generators are bunched together (so the killer can watch all of them at the same time).
Example: Dead Dawg Saloon has a huge part of the map that is just open desert. There are no windows, not many pallets, and no obstacles to break the killer's line of sight.

I understand now. I can see why I liked playing Legion on Dead Dawg haha. It's such an open map with so much possibilities.
Thank you so much!
