Survivors are able to get objectives done too fast
I was going back in between gate to gate after the last gen gets done, leave one of the them to glimpse at the other, and the gate is open with claudette tbagging like she actually did something.
No faster progression perks were used and it took her 15 seconds.
Gate speeds are too fast, gen speeds are too fast, and killers cant do anything.
And dont tell me to bring perks that slow progression, because that is why everyone brings the same four perks every game.
In other words, something must be done.

It takes 20 seconds to open a gate, not 15.
If you can't patrol both gates, it's your own fault if they get out. Especially considering the gate lights up after they've interacted with it for a few seconds, meaning you know they're nearby.

Play better is all I really have to say. As killer, it is your duty to apply pressure strategically and get downs quickly. Survivors who are on hooks and survivors who try to rescue said survivors are survivors who are not doing gens. Of course, I get the odd SWF every once in a while, and in that case, since I play pig and demo mostly, I can't compete with 100% survivor efficiency. But not every game is a completely coordinated SWF, and even those teams that sit on gens will get obliterated by responsible pressure management and ending chases very quickly.

While this is true you can get the gate to about 20 % before the first light. So it took her atleast 16 sec.
Also gen speeds are okay. Just apply more pressure. Force chased to take place where other people are working on gens. It's still possible to when without gen slowdown perks.

I wish i was still at a level where i though i had control over the game as killer sigh.. good times.

But then how do you balance it? I play both and I get your point on gens flying fast vs some teams even when you use slow down perks or put constant pressure on survivors.
On the flip side, and being a solo survivor, I find myself often doing gens because most of the time, my ######### team mates don’t.
Another thing is, if you play with someone who is rubbish and gets killed or DCs in the first 2 minutes cause they got downed, it’s hard enough to win after that.
If a killer kills a survivor before 3 gens are finished, it is most likely that Survivors will lose.

I agree. I think a big problem is that gates can be 99%. They should start to degrade when they take their hands off of them to force them to be opened.

"In other words, something must be done."
Yeah, it's your job to stop them.

^ this. The Killer should be responsible for slowing down the game. Not any Perks or game mechanics. And every Killer is capable of doing so, every Killer is viable for the vast majority of games.
I really wish people would stop blaming the game when they had a bad match and finally accept that it might be them who messed up.

Red ranks in the evening means gens fly by. You can't really do anything about it. Everyone likes to say "oh, just play better" but it's pretty hard to do so in the W/predrop meta. And by "hard" I mean "actually impossible". 3 minute gens, here we come!

how are you in your chases?? I feel like the big reason why gens get done too fast is because killers overcommit to someone.

Please, go into great detail how a killer can win against a team that's slamming gens, holding W and predropping pallets.
And given that we have the competitive scene as an example, where this is all survivors do, it seems pretty clear that the answer is "play Nurse."

Idk when im any killer with no speed ability on red forest and before i even cross the map 3 gens are almost done lol. In cases like that it really isnt my fault since i think tru3 counted and it takes 50 seconds to cross the whole map pressing w. Its pretty widly known maps are at fault for most speeds since not every killer can afford taking 30 seconds to cross a map. Then you have maps like haddonfield or the game which allow chases to go on far longer then usual.

Anyone who is ok with the current gen speed, gen tapping, gen kicks are obviously not in the red rank on both survivor and killer.
If you play both at the red rank, you can tell it's so much easier and relaxed to play survivors than killers.
Pallets are everywhere, SWF with voice comms, hex totems get destroyed in a minute, large maps such as Ormond or Rotten Fields...
There is a reason why more and more killers do camping and tunneling nowadays, it's because the gen speed is freaking fast.
Maybe killers are more dominant at the purple or lower, but once both survivors and killers reach a certain point, survivors are way more dominant.

Don't lie. You literally can NOT change Killers when in a lobby. Nice try.

Thus why maps are being reworked. Ignore the guy you quoted.

Agreed. I literally just had an anxiety attack for the first time since playing Killer. Like I didn't know ######### was happening until I realized the symptoms. Playing Killer is just FAR too stress-inducing. I play Survivor solo queue most of my games to relax or destress from playing Killer. It's beyond stupid what has happened to Killers since the Ruin rework.
Speaking of Ruin, it's rework has honestly lowered the quality of Survivors you see in Red Ranks because I find most aren't hitting Great Skillchecks now as there is now no longer ANY incentive to get good at hitting Great Skillchecks. I'm just thankful I played Survivor a lot during old Ruin because I'm able to fairly consistently hit Great Skillchecks.

I don't see how what I said has to relate to changing killers while in a lobby.
