Literally something new could come out and use DBD as marketing.
There will be more major licenses, and when all the big ones are taken there'll just be more to come

Oh well if you haven't yet, i recommend it.
I wouldn't say it'll blow your mind, but i think it's a nice change of pace from everything else.
If you'll try it, do prepare for...mediocre graphics. It's not ugly, but you'd notice it's not a new game.

Lol thanks for the heads up. I need to give it, evil within, and Outlast a try although I did play a good bit of outlast. I've played just about all of the other major horror games

LOL is a game with a significantly more popular genre than dbd.Keep that in mind.
In a world where everyone knows and plays the fps genre im suprised dbd made it this far.If you went back in time 4 years for example and told everyone dbd will still be relevant today a lot of people would just laugh at you.
If the game can survive for 5 years with the same boring ass, repetitive game mode.Doing the exact same thing over and over again which is not even exciting (hold M1).Then the devs must be doing something right.Also new licenses will just keep being made.When people get bored, tired or someone makes a better game.This is when the game is going to die.

In honesty, neither did I! I'm shaky on a couple like "Them", and admittedly a lot of these aren't huge franchises. Yet the possibility of DBD having some more is still pretty fruitful.

& that too! New horrors are always being made, so the next 'Silent Hill' or 'Hallowe'en' could be right around the corner!
Personally, though I doubt it'll happen, I'd love a chapter on 'The Magnus Archives' the potential for perks on both sides, as well as the amount of killer opportunities, is bountiful!

That's what I'm trying to make. You never know it could happen, I believe a lot of people have amazing imagination they just need to commit to it, and not hold back.

The Magnus Archives is a horror podcast that ran for 5 seasons (200 episodes) that focuses on The Magnus Institute: an organisation investigating the paranormal, which evolves from a new archivist putting statements into order - reading a different case each time. It then evolves into something of an epic cosmic horror and there are so many characters to choose from.
As examples:
A gym instructor who is obsessed with body perfection to the point where the grotesque is desired.
An individual who replaces others, despite looking nothing like them, yet nobody realises.
A person completely twisted into spirals, living in a maze with one door that can spawn anywhere.
It's all focused on horror and different scares and fears. Definitely recommend it.

Personally hoping for Amnesia and Alien.
Outlast would be nice aswell.
Honestly, my biggest hope is that we get more licensed maps in this game, I think the variety would be appreciated.

Friday the 13th is never going to happen as long as the rights remain in limbo like they are now. We already have ghost face it's just not related to the scream movies, though you can get the classic costume from the store. Alien is a good idea but I'd have a hard time seeing the xeno put people on hooks. It would be cool if he could put them into cocoons and plant an egg in front of them. once the timer ran out Face hugger!
Along that same line how would Chucky do it? he's way to short for that.

Could bring either the killer/mask from the TV series (wears another mask) or a paragraph with survivor and map?
i still believe the lawsuit(s) will be settled eventually. Far in the future. Maybe only just the version that’s not affected by the lawsuit (Jason’s iconic look is not affected, as his mother was the killer in the original movie). Scream See above.
Chucky could either work as the actual guy that can transfer his soul to the doll(s) and kinda work like twins or he gets some unique animation or something similar to PH cages.
For carrying animation either the killer model sits with knife on survs throat on their shoulder instead or Chucky drags the survivor. For hooking either he slams the survivor high up, the hooks get lowered for him or he gets some voodoo magic to get the survs on the hook.
the devs have shown before that they are pretty creative, way more than I am, so if they wanted to they can figure something out!

Your Next is a good horror film with a decent cult following, and its also pretty recent, we could see that coming in.

It's really surprising not to have a Outlast Chapter. After R.E., they now need to work on Outlast. Maybe they are planning to bring it after Outlast Trials

People saying FNAF wouldn't work because of a lack of survivor seem to forget Leatherface and Ghostface didn't come with survivors either...
