FIX YOUR HITBOXES
I have played this game for a while now and am usually a rank 1 survivor every reset. I always stop playing this game after about 2 months because I cannot stand the ######### hitboxes of this game. Seriously I'm sick of vaulting a window and the killer hitting me after I'm done with the vaulting animation on the other side of the window. Like seriously it's complete bullshit. It's not only windows it's the same deal with pallets after I'm done sliding over the pallet the killer will swing when I'm on the other side of the pallet and still hit me. Don't even get me started on getting hit mid-air bullshit after vaulting something that has a fall to it. Like come on your a multi-million dollar company with hundreds of employees and can't even fix ur ######### hitboxes. Fix your hitboxes man!

the hitboxes are messed up, in general, its not mostly because of the latency its one hundred percent the hitboxes. Ive had animations where I'm not even touching the persons body and in general I've been hit when I was well over the god damn pallete and windows. Yes there's latency but lets be honest it happens too often for it to be mainly that.

Killers can hit through windows. It's not an issue with hitboxes.
Pretty much the only way you can get hit is if both you and the killer are basically pressed up against the window. In that scenario, it makes perfect sense. If you are literally inches away from the killer with nothing between you, don't expect to be invincible.

dude hes talking about being away from the window and still being hit, I have this problem as well when I vault and I'm not even in range of the killer and his weapon doesn't even hit me. But it still counts, please shut up.

Oh ya and I forgot to say about the pallets I'll literally hear the killer hitting the wood of the pallet and it still hits me

The way it was phrased in the post was that the killer hit them just after they finished vaulting.
It's not entirely my fault if I got it wrong. I agree that hitboxes are screwed up, but I've seen and heard from people who think that it's impossible for killers to hit through windows except for hacking or bugs.
And I'm sorry if my post seemed unreasonably rude and unhelpful, but please don't just tell me to "shut up" without giving me an actual reason other than you didn't like what I said.

I know about the issue. I don't care that it affects you specifically. I don't care about most of the people who are negatively affected by it. I care about the issue. I don't care about you personally.
Also, calling names isn't exactly allowed on this forum. As in, it can get you banned. As in, I nearly lost my account for calling someone names.

This is actually not the latency.This game takes things right on the killer's screen.A killer with too many pings once came to my game.The killer was constantly beaming back.Many of the hits he hit us were so broken.Killer damaged me on one door of the shack the other door.

It is extremely inconsistent though, because I can hardly ever get a hit in on a vaulting survivor when I play as killer, but when I play survivor, my hitbox lags behind a window vault for about a full second all the time.
And hitboxes in general are screwy. Once had a Huntress openly declare that, yes, you can chuck a hatchet at a target behind a wall in the hopes of the hitboxes phasing through the solid object. That is not okay.

Yes this needs fixing. Also on the other side as well, I'm tired of hitting people with huntress hatchets and hearing the noise of the hit and seeing blood but not dealing any damage some how.

Yep, they refuse to address problem with killers using VPNs for their advantage. Its problem for over a year now but devs either don't care or its far beyond their capabilities.
Just don't let the killer with 200+ ping play the game OR (in such cases) put hit detection on survivors site. Unfair for killers? Well, it will be unfair for SOMEONE, and i would prefer if it was unfair for ones that are to blame for the problem, so ones who come in with high ping.
