Hag needs one last change
So hag has gone through with some really good changes in the past, but she really isnt up to todays standards. Firstly her addons need a clean rework, and secondly with the new map reworks spotting her traps is nearly impossible. Theres no counterplay in chase other than to get lucky and not run in to her web. The traps should have a slight delay so you cant instantly teleport to them, and they should leave a faint glow on the floor so that the survivors know where they are. And one final thing that i like to see is where during chase and within 15 meters of the killer traps cant be set off. This way pallet mindgames are gone for the most part, and if a survivor rhns into a loop mid chase the trap wont be gone, leaving it for an unsuspecting victim. These ideas could change a bit tbh, just my quick ideas and thoughts on her

She's not strong against good survivors.
Literally run just on the edge of her trap and then instant pull back. Bam
Counter to hag Right there, She needs help more than Nerfs,

I just want to ask, what would be the use of her traps then? With the teleport delay, only those with the reflexes of turtle would be hit by her, and much less the absolute nerf she would get since now any good survivor would not trigger a trap. I cannot see any good situation of her traps being used besides spamming them closely in one area of the map and preceding to chase survivors towards it; with 110% movement speed, too. This would make any Hag HAVE to camp to get kills. Since she’s already weak in chase and thus making her much more pathetic.

These changes would make her complete garbage just so you know.
Honestly just up the distance she can put traps at the hook and remove the flashlights ability to remove her traps. That's it.

Just get rid of her Rusty Shackles add on and Hag is fine IMO.

hag is one of three (debatably four, and the debatable one isn't hag) S-tier killers and she needs a buff?
some of you guys need to go up against a good hag sometime.

So you can't use the traps to hit people, you can't use them for information or mobility because survivors can see them from 20 miles away...
What would be the point of the traps? They would literally do nothing.

- Rusty shackles rework
- Remove the movement penalty after teleporting
- Remove the camera snapping after triggering a trap
One of the worst things you can do in any video game is take control away from the player during gameplay. You should be able to move immediately after teleporting, and you shouldn't literally lose control of your camera after triggering a trap.
also rusty shackles 🤢

So, make her into a worse version of Trapper, the weakest killer in the game?
1 -
I want to add the ability to break witch traps without flashlights. It's all.
2 -
You dont understand the glow would only be seen from a short distance, not like the whole trap distance but just what the killer pits on the ground, like a short range aura that you have to look for to see

Trapper is c tier, i have no clue what your on about
0 -
Okay.
4 -
Okay so if this is what you think is needed, let me add some more.
- Increased movement speed from 110% to 115%
- The hag can now teleport to her traps from any distance
- Crouching no longer prevents the activation of her traps.
- Flashlights no longer destroy traps
- The hag gains increased movement speed for a short duration upon teleporting to a trap.
- Killer instinct is activated on the survivor who activated a trap no matter if the hag chooses to teleport or not
- Survivors within the radius of a hag trap that doesn't activate due to the hag being within 15 meters will suffer from the hindered status effect.
No longer sounds fun does it? If you want to take away all of her strengths, I'll just remove and buff her weaknesses. Ignoring the likelihood you're either a bait or have no clue what you're talking about, without any buffs to what you're suggesting you'd easily make the hag the worst killer in the game.

Welcome to trappers world.

Everything but the third one, the rest would be a nice change for her.

This. not being able to do anything about them is bs.
0 -
No, everything. If a survivor doesn't notice the glow from the trap then that's their fault for going near. If you wish to make the traps easily visible, then there should be no other counter to them. You can simply choose to walk around them or purposely activate them while either the hag is in chase or simply because you don't care.

Hag is weak at red ranks. You're operating under the assumption that survivors will let her get traps out at all. If you deny her the time and freedom to set up her trap web she's literally just a slow M1 killer.
A lot of her own addons counter her, such as increased radius preventing her from getting hits off of traps.

An A tier bordering on S tier killer doesn't need help lol
Hag is fine as she is imo. It's almost impossible to beat a good Hag. They operate on another level of 4D chess

this is all i would change about her. make it a short animation of the survivor smearing their hands over it, maybe 2 seconds disarm time.
i'd also like it if the hag was not notified that her traps got destroyed. it's not noisy and she's so omnipresent that stealth should be the counterplay, but you can't interact with her without revealing yourself.

Went up against a hag with mint rag and rusty shackles once, that match was insane. We never stood a chance... XD
Hag's a very strong killer in the right hands and her add ons can be brilliant.
I personally, don't think she needs a re work.

There's nothing better than running against a hag with rusty shuckles. Such fun, so entertaining

Lest you play it Super safe against Hag.
Trigger all her traps while she carries a survivor. Bam Lost all map pressure,
Now she has to retrap those spots.
Or worse. against a flashlight squad. Bam. lost more traps due to clicky clicky.
she's only halfway in the A tier list.. imho

Bruh you're saying legion and clown are better than trapper. Who does that?
0 -
Someone who plays a lot of Legion, Clown and Trapper.

- Don't allow the Hag to set up, as soon as you identify her you have to immediately move to disrupt her establishing a 3-gen web. Unlike other killers, a Hag does not really want to deal with you directly. The first few minutes are drastically critical, which is often why Hag players run Corrupt Intervention. (For me, this perk is the hallmark of a mid-level skilled Hag, normally a high skilled Hag won't need it and a low skilled one won't have it.)
- Manage Hag's inability to teleport effectively. Most of the time a Hag player chooses to create a network of traps, which means they are often very close together. That also means when they are carrying someone to a hook you can easily destroy half or more of her traps which the Hag player either has to sacrifice or waste time replacing.
- If you know where the trap is, rotate your camera to face it. It will reduce the time the game controls your camera to look at the trap. It is also less disorientating as a player.
- Learn the trigger distance - traps are basically worthless once you know where they are, and it'll prevent her from placing new ones without destroying the oldest ones which are often the most important to maintaining a Hag's web.
- Crouch to prevent traps from going off. When unhooking/being unhooked its worth taking the time to crouch to walk past the traps, its better that she wastes the time walking back to you than teleporting instantly. (Assuming she even heads back to the hook.) Furthermore you can do actions from crouching without triggering a trap, like repairing a generator or unhooking.
- Use abnormal pathing, a Hag will normally set up traps in the /most likely/ places survivors will path to get where they need to be.
- Take advantage of the disorientation when teleporting, a Hag player's perspective matches their trap's perspective. So you know exactly where their FOV will be.
- Use a flashlight.

This would make her garbage tier. One survivor chases the very slow Hag around disarming her traps with no notification, and it’s ggez for the survivors. She’d be a 110% killer with no power, even worse than Trapper.
You can already disable her traps by setting them off, by the way. Set it off at the edge of its range and she won’t be able to hit you out of a teleport. Or run through them when she’s locked in an animation and therefore can’t teleport, or when she’s far away and out of range.

"the survivors should psychically know at all times where the hag is and what she's doing, or else she has no power"
ok. have you thought that a hag that just randomly runs around setting traps and then moving on is bad? because she's a territorial killer that defends a 3gen. if the hag allows me to cleanse all her stuff without defending her zone then she isn't defending her zone and she deserves to lose. she doesn't deserve a bunch of free alerts and opportunities to hit people. there's no situation where following behind her is a good idea.
as for being locked into an animation, why is she breaking pallets when she can tp past them? why is she kicking gens if she isn't popping them? why would she ever vault a window? the biggest opportunity you get is when she's carrying a survivor and, guess what, she's gonna put new traps down around the fresh hook.
i need you to seriously ask yourself what you think hag's strengths are before coming onto the forums and telling me that beating her would be as easy as just creeping along behind her disarming her traps as if she won't just turn around at any moment. because she will.

“There’s no situation where following behind her is a good idea” in your ideal future where her traps can be disarmed in 2 seconds with no notification to the killer? Are you serious? Removing her power entirely and making her a 110% killer with nothing else wouldn’t be a good idea for any survivor with a single brain cell?
I’m gonna assume you’ve never played as Hag in your life if you don’t see the value in removing her traps. Even your “just turn around 4head” response tells me you don’t play killer because while the Hag is being harassed by someone disarming all of her vital power and chasing them away, guess what the other 3 survivors are all doing.
“If I disarm her traps while she’s carrying a survivor she’ll just set more near the hook” - so what? You realise that Hag’s traps are one of the strongest chase abilities in the game, right, and can net her a down in a matter of seconds? If you disarm her web you are weakening her significantly. Multiple traps around a hook are an absolute waste of time and tell me you’ve never faced a Hag above rank 10.

"you realise that hag's traps are one of the strongest chase abilities in the game, right, and can net her a down in a matter of seconds?"
yes
i do
that's why i think that the ability to remove them when she's not chasing you is a good idea 🙄🙄

It’s a good idea if you only consider the survivor side when determining what is “good”. It’s a bad idea if you take into account that high rank Hag players might actually want the chance to win matches once in a while, and having their power removed via a 2 second animation with no notification will make their chosen killer utterly unplayable against survivors with more than a few hours.
I mean, by this same logic killers should be able to remove survivor items or remove gen progress by channelling a small animation, because items and gen progression are strong survivor tools.
