Trickster is the worst killer even after said ,,buffs''

So all are free to prove me wrong. I am rank one, play all killers and mostly play the game competitively with as many a hooks as possible depending on the caliber of survivors i am against. Trick for me is the absolute worst I actually feel pain even trying to play him. I got some good perks on him and am still struggling to go vs even chill survivors who just line sight me or go at a big loop where I can't shoot and just make me brute force it so I can get rid of it. For me on Ptb I actually liked him, you know why well because he could actually down you fast with the ricochet and melodious murder addon. After ptb when i saw the nerf to trick addon I said to myself ,,Eh whatever he should still be ok.'' BOY was i wrong! Everything he does is SLOW to walking, to downing, everything. I try and hit multiple survivors doesn't help with hiw 0 map pressure, since they run away and heal, even tried saying F it and started going for a chase till i down one survivor. Had a chase vs a survivor who used 2 jungle gyms and 1 T-L wall. I downed him after 4 gens were done since he just line sighted me constantly and i lose any sort of blood lust when trying to use daggers. 110% killers have weaker mind games since mind games help in closing distance while with 110% those missing 5% make a huge difference to a hit and a pallet stun. Right now for me at least i can not find a viable and fun way to play this guy, he is bad at split pressuring and bad in the one vs one. I would prefer playing Trapper without perks and addons than playing Trick since at least i have any sort of snowball since the only time i have seen any with Trick is in the basement and he is even bad there compared to the rest of the killers. I want some help to actually try and use this guy, anything to make him at least descent in red ranks. So feel free to give me something viable; perks, strats (if there are any), anything.

    Hawkins, Ricochet, Piercing. Not only is it fun but you would be suprised by how quickly you can down if they get in a tight area since 1 knife can hit up to 3 times and it is literally impossible to miss a knife since it will bounce a bunch and end up hitting. On most maps just bringing soda usb or usb exploding is probably the best. Also only use main event on a fresh survivor. Chances are if you got main event you have put a few knives into the survivor you are chasing and its pointless. Also bodyblocking will cuck you hard.

    When a Killer is viable on literally one (1) map, the Killer is garbage.

    Play Trickster on any open map with traditional jungle gym tiles. See how much fun you have.

    I know closed maps are good for him but only if you are with Ricochet..... that's the problem a purple addon to have some interesting and skill based gameplay with him. I know there are small holes you can shoot through but those waste time, even slinger can shoot through them but at least he can hit the survivor for a health state if he has the angle. Closed maps in general are very nicely, mostly killer sided, except gideon, since they are quite claustrophobic and killers with stealth or normal killers with tinkerer and monitor can get hits very quickly and have a lot of pressure. I myself find map offering a very bad mechanic and quite exploited by the survivor side while for killer T1 Shape with scratch mirror is fun. I only resort to use map offerings in that scenario. I don't know for me they should revert the addon change even if players say it was cheesy that he just bounced them behind your legs to down you, at least he could down very fast and consistent while now it is slow as hell, fastest down i could get would be with his iridescent photo addon with insta down mechanic which is really bad in designee to make for a ranged killer making him go for a M1 attack to most effectively end a chase.
