> Wahh wahh slugging someone for 4 minutes out of spite is toxic
I sure don't see survivors claiming it's also toxic for them to just crawl away into a corner of the map when they already lost so the killer can't find them and has to wait the full 4 minutes too and is denied of the hook points he worked for.
Guess being petty and spiteful towards a killer is ok but god forbid a survivor feels uncomfortable.

Let's be honest, both really suck.

This
I'd add more but there's really no need to...

It is not toxic. If killers leaves survivor dying statu, they had to accept risks to lose them.
4 -
If you slug someone and leave them, that can be a consequence. You chose that by slugging and leaving them.
Survivors can't choose to be picked up without certain perks, and even then, there's no benefit to it because they're just going back down immediately.
Both suck for both parties, but one is disproportionately worse than the other.

What is the point of this thread?
26 -
Only one happens on every single killer match. Killers being petty and watching a survivor die on the floor for 4 minutes is extremely rare, specially because the killer is losing points and pips by not hooking said survivor.
Meanwhile not a single survivor out there doesn't take great pleasure from denying the killer the hook points, even if the survivor wins nothin by just hiding and dying on th floor.
2 -
That's what happens when you slug for the 4K.
If you want the hook points then hook them.
17 -
Survivors crawl away because they're hoping for a hail mary hatch when their other teammate gets hooked, and they have a better chance of finding it if the killer doesn't immediately pick them up. Then the hatch gets closed and they're in the ass end of nowhere, and the killer is unlikely to find them unless there's enough time left on their bleedout to spawn 90s idle crows.
The number of survivors that are actually doing this out of spite is lower than it appears from the killer side, and sometimes said spite is in direct response to being left slugged for a few minutes. Which doesn't make it a good thing, but it is tit-for-tat.
Meanwhile, there is zero benefit to the killer when they down you and then stare at you for the next four minutes. It is only spiteful, the same way tbagging at pallets and refusing to leave until the killer chases you out of the end gates/hatch are.

Well tbf if youβve slugged that much you donβt deserve the points

He's just trying to bait reactions

You're actively preventing someone from playing the game, of course they're gonna be pissed. Same reason why people get mad at camping.
As for why they crawl away; they're looking for hatch and having a sliver of hope that it could spawn on them.
Imagine being the toxic one and then complaining about it... ffs

I wasen't sure the wah wah was to imitate crying survivors or to imitate spirit.
It really could have gone either way
1 -
Never once have I ever seen that happen. Everyone who I've seen (including myself) who crawls when slugged is either looking for hatch or looking for another survivor to pick them up.
The mere fact that you're calling it "griefing" is just sad.
2 -
They owe you nothing. You chose to slug them, which is your right, but let's not act like consequences don't come with that choice lol
8 -
Can't be griefing if you found them...

to hate on survivors and to spread hate and negativity.

oh no a survivor has used their w key after i left them slugged so i shall now rant about how it happens every single game on the forums
either this is a massive hyperbole or it's time you learned that playing like that has consequences? like playing with 12 hooks or tunneling has consequences, theyre just different ones
2 -
Oh for goodness sake.
Is this yet another thing survivors can't do? π I mean unless they have unbreakable on, what else you expect them to do? Tap dance? π€
Christ.

It's odd that you only joined these forums to insult others and be full of yourself by venting on here about how good killers are and survivors mega toxic.
If you want to slug for the 4k, it has a cost. Both of you need to accept that.
6 -
Ah yes the good old this can't be toxic because that is toxic argument, works everytime lol.
4 -
Okay tell them next time not to crawl away and tell them to tap dance instead.
1 -
First point true but second point very untrue. I care about killer just as much if not more than most survivors. If I am slugged I'm just gaming, man. It's not my fault I ended up in that position.
2 -
Count on a killer main to say that it's the survivor's job to wait in one spot in order to give the killer a free hook.
1 -
He was ranting in another thread about how proud he is to camp and slug every survivor he encounters, even if they've done nothing to him, so I can't say I'm surprised.
He's the new Lord_Tony lol
3 -
Okay I understand that but if you didn't care it wouldn't be commented on a forum? It's posts like these that makes the forum itself toxic?
2 -
So let me get this straight:
Slugging for the 4k is perfectly alright, but the survivor crawling away is toxic? Stop trolling already.
6 -
Just another "Killer good, Survivor bad" thread, as usual.
7 -
I mean if you want to slug for the 4K because you need the 4k points, why cant a survivor crawl away to try to get hatch and deny you those points? I dont get it.
3 -
if you dont like survivors crawling away there is a perk in the game for that its called deerstalker
3 -
Oh my God, why didn't they just layed there and enjoyed the view of floor poor killer
1 -
He's one of those killer mains who wants validation and an ego boost. I find "killer mains" and "survivor mains" cringey when they post.
3 -
I mean if you left them to chase someone else shouldn't they hide so their teammate can save them?
After you caught there teammate I guess there's no point in continuing to hide but there may be a solution hi about a mechanic that after being down for long enough survivors stand back up? That way you can find them trying to open the gates?

If you slug for the 4K for an example, you have a risk of them escaping from the hatch when you find the other person, again if you wanna do slugging as killer there are consequences.
0 -
This only strengthens my conclusion that you aren't actually real.
2 -
To complain about nothing.
1 -
Okay but the comment itself sounds like you're bothered by it though. That's my point.

"I want to be able to down every survivor. If that means that I have to leave some of you on the ground while I leave to go get the ones that are still active, stay where I left you. Got it? You STAY. In fact it would be better if you crawled into a brightly lit spot that makes you easier to find when I come back. That way you don't inconvenience me and my game is easier. No, I don't care whether you'd rather crawl away and try to find a hatch. I don't like that. This is my game. MINE".
1 -
When I get slugged I leave the game
2 -
DC or suicide?
DC is basically giving the killer what they want. I get slugged I just crawl to the corner π always fun to see them squirming for that last kill and end up with a 4k for that because they couldn't find me π either that or ta daaaa unbreakable baby! π€π

I dc, I don't really care about the rest, I just close the game and play another one. If he's satisfied just with that good for him.
1 -
Well, out of spite, yes, thats toxic. There are reasons to do it that are not toxic.
Also, as a survivor, i crawl around the map to find the hatch. I escaped so often while slugged because the killer didnt find me in time and didnt know where the hatch was that i escaped. Sure, if the killer closes the hatch, i stop crawling whereever i am, but that doesnt mean the killer finds me. But has nothing to do with corners.
But people who just crawl away to hide and deny a hook, yeah, they are the same as a toxic slugger.
0 -
I wouldn't say a survivor considering crawling away is toxic at all. Especially if you don't have unbreakable active.
If a killer gon slug me expect me to crawl somewhere. If you enjoy the kick of letting me bleed out, I enjoy the kick of seeing you pacing around the map quick time wondering where I am.
1 -
Haha funnily enough i had the last remaining survivor decide to teabag last night. It was only fitting that i let them bleed out rather than hooking. Think of it as 'time to reflect'
