This Game is Broken at the Mid Level

I'm playing matches against rank 1-4 survivors as a rank 10-8 killer and the game is just terrible at this level. Everyone runs the same perks and uses the same tactics and trolls you horrendously for hitting a pallet stun. I can't see what level or what perks they are using but if I disconnect because they are clearly on another level and troll me or abuse perks I get timed out. I've been enjoying being able to meet cool people and have had some awesome moments when people are just playing organically but this now is just awful and repetitive and toxic at this stage. Until the dev's address the matchmaking and respond to the toxic names and gameplay I'm out. It's a shame because I love the lore and gameplay when its just fun but I'm not going to abide being forced to play with toxic gameplay behavior and rude people the rest of the time.

    I've had a very similar experience playing lately as a rank 14-16 killer and getting lobbies full of red ranks who will teabag at exit gates and the like. Something could be done about the matchmaking but it's generally impossible to police toxic behavior because it's difficult to set hard rules for, and everyone's idea of what is and isn't toxic varies to some degree. Generally no matter what popular online game you play, there will be toxic players and there isn't much anyone can do about it so it's just something you have to accept if you want to continue playing the game. Regardless, I still find it frustrating myself to deal with when I play killer so I've kind of abandoned it and chose to play SWF where at least if the killer is being toxic (or just outranks me by a mile) I can have some company and laugh about it with my friends.
