Easy Anti-Camp Mechanic For Twins
I’ve noticed that a lot of twins players will often times get a down, place victor right next to a hook before picking up, and then hook the survivor. It’s an obvious work-around to the built in mechanic and is an absolute solo-queue destroyer for this reason without proper information. I suggest that if a survivor is hooked within 20m of victor that he just respawns like if he were to be left Unplayed for too long. It’s a fix that would actually implement some kind of anti-camp mechanic.

I would appreciate something like this. Twins are the most unpleasant killer to VS after Bubba and Stidor-Spirit.

unfortunately a change like this would gut the twins into worthlessness, they're only decent when these tactics are employed

I don't believe this to be true. Sure against a really optimal swf the twins will hurt be so will any other killer besides nurse or spirit. Not every killer needs to be comp material as most matches are either swfs that don't play very efficiently or solo queue players with no communication whatsoever. Victor's ability to slug a team of injured survivors quickly and allow the player to be two places at once is incredibly strong.
There is no reason that a decent twins player should have to camp unless they just simply aren't good at using the twins ability to create map pressure without camping. Just like hag shouldn't be able to trap right under hook, because a good hag doesn't need to and it's an unfun mechanic.

Can't the rescuer just kick Victor before unhooking? I'm not saying camping isn't a serious problem with the Twins, but I've had more of an issue with the Twins plonking Charlotte down next to a hook and then using Victor to go harass some other part of the map, not the other way around.

Victor's Killer Instinct can sense survivors around him not crouching for 16 or 20 meters (I forget which). So a survivor would have to take an absurd amount of time to crouch and kick him before unhooking. Against solo queue survivors this would be near impossible to communicate even with kindred as victor is not shown. I agree that both strategies are problematic but at least charlotte has no idea if somebody is approaching.

The survivor has the same notification that Victor is nearby, meaning he can be spotted even if he's not in LOS. It's pretty easy to yeet him. Essentially, you both notice each other immediately when you approach the hook. Even if Charlotte starts moving back to the hook the second Victor alerts her... you were going to unhook anyway, which creates its own notification, so all she gets out of it is a few seconds' head start.
I'm not opposed to this change, since it's patching up a hole that likely wasn't intended to be there, but it wouldn't fix the camping I've experienced with Twins. Victor can be destroyed, giving the survivors at the hook time to scatter before Charlotte arrives. Charlotte can always just wake up as soon as the unhook happens and smack you back down.

Also you could just crouch walk up to a hook, like you do when playing against a hag.

You're acting like Victor's slugging potential wasn't given a bigger counter, and that Victor and Charlotte both have the same capabilities.
"Hag shouldn't be able to trap under the hook"
"unfun"

Slugging is not equal to camping. They literally said when they announced the killer they were going to implement an anti-camp mechanic. Placing victor under the hook beforehand is just a loophole as you can't do that after hooking the survivor so yeah.... it is unintended and unfun. Don't know where you're confused bestie.

This is the change they actually needed.
Now revert the ridiculous nerf they did on Victor pounces and give Charlotte Undetectable while Victor is being held.
This would fix her two issues which are camping and taking Victor hostage.

I’m absolutely in favor of those changes. Using the twins ability to be in two places at once should come with unpredictability which helps you surprise survivor. I would take the twins being hard to pin down over a camp mechanic any day.

Yeah they approached her slugging as the issue (which has lots of counter play) instead of focusing on her real issue which is the camping.
