Why do people want Lady Dimitrescu as Killer in DBD?
I'm not against adding it, but it might be interesting to have it, especially because of the NSFW that the DbD community can create with it. But I have my doubts about why "SHE" should be the killer of the next chapter? Why not Nemesis? Not Wesker? No Mr. X? etc.
I think many forget what I mentioned earlier this year, the word STARS on the fifth anniversary. It is clear that the survivors will be members of STARS and the killer Nemesis. But where did it come from that Lady Dimitrescu can be a killer in DbD? Resident Evil Village barely came out and I think that most would be disappointed to receive her or Daniela Dimitrescu, which is the theory that many people speak about the fifth anniversary logo.
I still wouldn't mind having one of them as long as power is fun and NOT a disappointment like Trickster. But as a skin or character it bothers me to know that it is not a killer that is linked to Racoon City, the T virus or Umbrella Corporation that the latter was seen in the teaser and it gives us to understand that the killer can be a creation or a mutation from Umbrella Corporation.
And yes, Nemesis is a problem in Dead by Daylight, they say it doesn't fit but I ask you, Is it normal to have killers with such ridiculous cosmetics as the clown's cosmetics? Doesn't that fit or is the K-POP theme somewhat uncomfortable to have here? I think everything can fit from ultra rare cosmetics to having killers that do fit but people don't want to admit like Chucky, Jason or Pennywise himself.
If I am to have Nemesis, I ask that it be the classic Nemesis, not the 10-foot tall tower now. The classic Nemesis looks something like Oni or Myers in this game. If he can have his rocket launcher, he can be nerfed like the pallets that the entity makes them strong in dimension or the survivors that are resistant to being hanged or injured.
But going back to the title question, tell me why and use valid arguments why, it is more than obvious that we will have legendary skins of all playable characters from RE and even from RE8 Village or the Netflix series.
PS: If Daniela is the new murderer, on the one hand it would also be my new waifu compared to Susie.

Because almost everyone collectively became a simp the moment the reveal trailer for Village dropped.
I honestly don't think the character will be as memorable compared to the tyrants of previous games, or hell - even Jack Baker. I'll have to play Res 8 myself to confirm. But I think the popularity of the character is more because everyone is really horny rather than she's uniquely designed.

Personally I don't have a preference, but people like Lady D for two reasons: She's new/popular and she's hot. She could work, but I would equally be happy with a well-done Mr. X or Nemesis.

See I can get behind this, but I'd also rather BHVR make their own cool original vampire Killer than steal Resi's rather disappointing (IMO) attempt at one.
Especially when RE has other things we could get instead; like Tyrants, Lisa Trevor, G-Birkin, or Alexia Ashford.
Heck, if we have to get a modern RE Killer, Heisenberg or Jack Baker would be better (IMO) than Dimitrescu.
Her concept is neat, but Resident Evil has a wealth of more interesting characters than a 19th Century woman with bad nails.

the game doesn't have a vampire in it. her design is fantastic. she's becoming extremely iconic in such a short period of time. everyone fell in love with her immediately. like, why wouldn't people want her?
the fact she's so strong a competitor to have thread after thread made about her means she's doing something hella right.

On a more practical note: she and baker are the only out of the bunch who would work in dbd as they do have a bit more than... stalks and is really strong.
Mr X or Nemesis would just be... wraith without invisibility or trapper without traps.

I truly hope she’s not the killer. I wouldn’t complain and she’d be a decent fit, but I’d certainly be disappointed.
I think if you’re going to have a tie-in with such an iconic, beloved franchise, the killer should be someone/something iconic.
Whilst a nicely designed character, the vampire chick is new and and she’s mostly popular with people who like to meme or those who’ve a particular sexual fetish, thus she’s just not the iconic RE killer that I think would do the license justice.

That's pretty much my sentiment. I don't think Neme or X would fit in this game because they're barely even characters. They have no objective outside of doing whatever Umbrella programmed them to do.
I'd add Birkin to your list though, because although he serves pretty much the same gameplay function of "big mutant boss-fight/forcing the player to move along", unlike the two tyrants he at least has somewhat of a character.

I'd love to see a REgenerator/Iron Maiden, they are so terrifying yet so simple. The design is Iconic, their sounds are terrifying, their power could be stretchy arms, maybe 1 or 2 extra meter, like Myers Tier 3 Lunge or a mini aoe, where spikes come out of the Iron Maiden's body. They'd be a Tall killer but a smaller Terror Radius, maybe a 24 or 26 meters TR (assuming you're already thinking of using Monitor) but 115% movement speed, on indoor maps yes they'd have the advantage like Myers or GF or All Seeing Wraith but on more open maps, he'd have the same weakness as tall Killers.
