How To Fix Trapper

He is massively outdated. Here's how I would fix him.

  1. He starts carrying all his traps. But he cannot pick up any he places until he's under his carry limit (as determined by add-ons)
  2. He can now lob a trap between 2-10 yards away. But it takes 5 seconds for it to arm after landing. (To prevent this from being used by throwing it ahead of a running Survivor. It's only to keep him from slowing down to place every trap)
  3. His traps are invisible outside of 20 meters (or yards, or whatever measurement the game uses.) This prevents Survivors from seeing his traps in a chase, or if they are being sloppy, but they WILL see them if they are moving slowly. This ALSO makes his traps useful indoor maps, where they currently stand out like neon signs.


These changes speed him up, when it comes to placing traps, which he needs because he's a base movement speed Killer with an M1 attack. And his traps can be disarmed

    1. He carries 2 traps from start and his limit is also +2 basically
    2. Trap's color should be darker
    3. His Mori motion should be changed.

    1. starts the trial with one trap but can carry a max of 2 at base. (so he can pick up any traps he spawns next to without having to place the first one)
    2. traps appearance should be map based so they blend better with their environments like how current traps blend on the new Coldwind (if there in the swamp they should be brown, if there in Hawkins they should be grey)
    3. give traps some added threat by giving them some kind of lingering effect for instance "every time a survivor steps in a trap they get a stack of fracture each fracture stack increases the amount of attempts possible on traps by 1 and reduce the wiggle speed of survivors by 5%" so the more traps they step in the harder it becomes to escape them and the trappers grasp

    Is it just me or are darker traps sometimes not very good for all maps especially now that Coldwind is in daylight, I think trap darkening add-ons should just decrease the traps' opacity, making them transparent
