Borrowed Time change
The latest change didn't achieve what it set out to do.
With the badly thought out timer nerf, it's simply easier to tunnel people through this perk. A good example is deathslinger, who, if he quickscopes the unhookee before they get to move, can hold them captive for longer than the timer of BT. He already lacks counterplay and now he auto-counters a perk to counter tunneling? This is a huge issue seeing as the compensation nerf wasn't necessary whatsoever, while the buff to mean that stealth killers and lullabies didn't negate its effect should have been in the game a very long time ago.

Agreed. Making it applied regardless of where the killer is was unnecessary. Instead they should have just changed 'terror radius' to 'within 32 meters'.

yes, hope it applies to victor 2

Yes, it definitely needs another look, for sure.
I agree with above: range could have maybe been enough, but then we need to take into account high mobility killers and hag as well. I really hope we get another iteration next patch or one that comes with the next hotfix (should we get one) as it's kind of an important perk for the game's health.

I would like to see BT return to its original version, which protected both survivors but could only be used once per trial. And change "terror radius" to "within 32 meters".
I think that would be a nice change.

Maybe they reduced it to 12 seconds because 15 was too long? And if deathslingers gun hits the unhooked survivor than the timer should pause IMO.

Agreed. Not mainly because a Killer could tend to tunnel you even more since the BT change, it's more like those Basement safes won't work as good as they used to be anymore. Especially if the nearby basement pallet is gone or if the basement is within a basement.
Killer know that theres no pallet or that the basement takes forever to escape and just wait it out... It's just not good.
But you could also argue to add another way out to every basement.
A change is needed.

I would prefer proximaty base of 16 meters then map wide that would be my only change for BT would work amazingly with kindred

Except the issue is this doesn't allow actual defensive play whatsoever; the wait time is miniscule and a survivor can just be bodyblocked by a kliller for the entirety, with some questionable interactions for certain killers as with Deathslinger.
I agree, protecting the unhooker makes no sense at all; it's clear why it doesn't work like this and single use per trial would be grossly underpowered for its purpose, just as the latest change has caused it to be anyway.

I'd be happy if it was just reverted tbh, not bothered if it doesn't work against a handfull of Killers, i dont think it was really an issue.
