Add map seeding
This game has esports potential, add map seeding to custom lobbies please, not even that hard/ time consuming to do.

What is map seeding?

It allows the host of the lobby to choose the exact variation of a specific map to be played at any time. So for example both teams would be able to play the exact same Coal Tower (same pallet spawns, same gen spawns, etc.)

Dead By Daylight isn't a game ready for competitive play. It has far too many balancing issues and suffers a lot from repetition.
Don't believe me? Take a look at all of the past tournaments. They were trainwrecks. Especially the one in Asia.

I believe the point is that with map seeding you could objectively pick the most balanced versions of each map, in addition to being able to perpetuate the map between matches so that all factors remain equal but player skill.

Its not even important to find THE balanced map.
For most tournament setups it would just be important to have the same map twice or more often in a row.
I dont see how that is bad for the game.

I don't get this mindset, no offense.
Esport: Let's show how great we are at the game! ...By removing any random aspect. Make it as vanilla as possible.
Like, isn't part of the skill being able to win using all the game mechanics? It's why I don't understand Smash Bros. tournaments that turn off the items and stage hazards; A real team would be able to overcome the full game, be it random maps in DBD or items in SSB.

Imo trying to make this game truly competitive would ruin the fun of DBD. This is like a casual competitive game like smash bros with items on

Well obviously they would in private games which is what custom lobbies are at the moment, however if it was a tournament setting the producers would hopefully choose suitable maps from the seeding.

The suggestion flat out said that its only for custom games.
This change would have no effect on normal gameplay and might actually help developers test out specific map set ups for Bugs and/or balance issues.
