Changing Killer while Searching

This was originally a supposed "bug" that was hotfixed in the latest patch, but I just want to say one thing regarding this, and I'm hoping a developer could listen to this suggestion:

Make it a feature.

Why make it a feature?

As to why it should be a feature, that should be fairly obvious for two reasons; for starters, you are just searching for a match and thus not in a match lobby with the other players just yet. Therefor, you should be able to just swap before going into a match lobby. Secondly, and this follows up from the last statement; if you suddenly don't feel like playing the Killer you originally selected, then you should be able to switch out while searching instead of having to "leave search" -> "change Killer" -> "search for game". It's easier and more efficient to "search for game" -> "change Killer".

The possible issues that arise with it

Now there could be some potential problems that may arise within the near or far future about it, such as "selecting a Killer at a specific time before going into a lobby" or it "possibly screwing with the future MMR system", which I believe would be easy to fix in concept. Have the game check who the last Killer you selected was before you go into the lobby so it will register you as that Killer, and then check who your current Killer is after the Offerings screen so it can register your Killer in the MMR system.

Conclusion

Either way, I feel this would be a feature that should remain for Killers since it honestly wasn't a problem when I was using it. Heck, when I started playing the game (and just before the patch), I legitimately thought this was a feature and not a bug.

It'd be a shame if this wasn't a feature in full, in my opinion. BHVR, if you're listening, could you try making it a small feature?
