This Killer released last October and it used to be a pleasure to see one. Now, it's almost every game.

For one, his FOV is no longer in his crotch and it's actually more around shoulder height.

FOV got changed which brought attention to him. People started saying he was really strong only after his FOV was fixed now that he felt better to play, now everyone plays him because they want to play the strong and fun killers. Seems that way to me anyway

People tend to use only the most lethal killers.
Prepare yourself to see a bunch of Wraiths in the future (well, probably you can't see them but you know)

You want to go back to Nurse and Spirit? Feeling a little nostalgic for some basement bubba and forever Freddy? I hope all of my matches are against The Blight, hearing the meaty whacks of his puss filled body slamming against the cold dusty walls of this infernal prison sounds like mfing Mozart.

If you are in Red Ranks it is not unusual to see the same killers over and over again.

They fixed his POV and some of collision, which were bugged since he got released. Yes he was bugged for half a year so people werent playing him that much

Probably because they fixed him on Console and Console likely has the majority of players

Not necessarily true. Twins is pretty dangerous but most people avoid the killer because they arent all that fun. Most people like mobile killers with the ability to do fun unique plays with well designed powers. Sure being lethal helps but barrier to entry can push people away from a killer very easily.
For killers like trickster it definetly a too weak waste of time aittude because he has the ability to do cool long range ricochet shennanigans theres just little payoff for actually pulling it off.
Blight can do some cool out of box angles and gets the pay off of a nice down. I do think mobility is another big reason for killer popularity.

Good, Blight is fun to play as & against.

His camera was lifted up so he no longer loses survivors in tall grass. They changed his controls as well so he’s now easier to play on console. Both those changes made him feel a lot more fun, and more people started to realise that he’s a strong killer with a higher skill ceiling than most, so he’s fun to try and learn without being as punishing as learning Nurse (where you’ll get relentlessly bullied until you get good - Blight is at least 115%).

Funny how the experiences differ.
I have seen one Blight in the past 3 days. But 8 Twins. I would have preferred it was the other way.

One or more streamers probably made a video guide, or compilation video, or started playing Blight more often. That's usually how these things go.

J-flicks are harder to pull off now, you can get a 180 turn on console and pc now with new Blight though.

This. Why are people upset about going against an actually strong killer that HAS counterplay? Nusrse and Spirit are strong because they get a free pass to bypass entire game mechanics, Blight is still constrained by the games rules but is fair and strong.

they tried to remove the j-flick, but they couldn't, also, they add the z-flick, that is worse than j-flick
