No Way Out Recommendation
I feel this suggestion may be received with wildly varying responses depending simply on which side you prefer.
Anyways, here's my suggestion:
No Way Out:
- Upon hooking a unique survivor, gain a token.
By default, No Way Out has an 8 second activation.
Each token adds an additional 4 seconds.
When the exit gates are opened, the exit remains blocked by the entity for this duration.
Essentially, the intention is to create a new fear amongst survivors in 99ing gates. With No Way Out, once the exit gate is opened, immediately the escape is blocked for a short 20 seconds.
I am expecting horrible backlash at this idea, but that's just fine because it's an idea and I want to see how everybody receives this idea.

I kinda like this. It's like a shorter Blood Warden that you don't need to time

Thank you! Yeah, ideally it would also stop a little bit of that annoying BMing in the gates after 99ing and opening. Was thinking either this or the perk has a passive ability to regress the gate progress.

This is basically like Freddy’s new black box, which is my new favorite add-on right now.
I like this change. The current version seems a bit pointless because the timer practically runs out by the time they reach a gate.

I had no idea this was changed to that! I don't keep up with Freddy :( Neat tho! and yeah currently it's like a little sign for survivors to go run a little lap around the local jungle gym or something.

Freddy's Black Box isn't really a good add-on anymore because it's really only useful when you're patrolling exit gates and MAYBE when you're chasing a survivor while the gates are open. It's already an end game add-on AND it's situational?!

I like OP’s idea

I kinda prefer the current No Way Out. It's a perk that slows the game down a bit after the last gen gets done, essentially giving the last gen extra time to complete.
I run it on Clown (without NOED) due to his horrible map pressure and it's actually saved me a couple times. (when I was unable to get a 4k)
I cooked up a buff for No Way Out a little while ago here: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/250714/no-way-out-buff-idea

Have you tried black box? It’s actually much better than it seems. Since survivors like to 99 gates, by the time they go open the gate they’ve already fallen back to sleep and you can catch them off guard. It’s honestly so much more reliable than running blood warden because they never expect it.

I like your idea as well! Although, right now the perk is literally just passive on survivors as by the time they can reach a gate, you've already lost some time on it. But your idea changes that, it's good! I was hoping mine would be able to stop survivors from doing that pesky 99ing gates move.

Thanks. But yeah, we could really use another perk that has your feature. A perk that counters 99'ing gates would be sweet.

I've seen repeatedly in many threads that anti-99 exit gates is too oppressive. It shouldn't be oppressive if it's a perk, right?

Wouldn't think so, even then I think something basekit like 99'ing past 90 might regress to 90 so they cant just tap it but still
