The camping and tunneling is ruining the game
It's ridiculous that this happens every match and when you add that onto the fact that the killers are already so powerful it makes it impossible for survivors to win a match. It honestly takes the fun out of the game and I wish the Devs would make it a rule that you can't do that. Its cheating end of story. I love this game, its my favorite but that crap is effin toxic and makes it hard for a survivor to rank.

Would you be on board if the Devs banned flashlight clicking, t-bagging, gen rushing and bodyblocking since they are all "toxic?"

Or, how about banning Generator camping. If you stop working on a Generator you can't touch it again until you find another one and bring it all the way up. :) You got pushed off that one, so you can't go back to that one. You MUST do a different Generator first. And you really shouldn't be able to tunnel a vault, only one use each and you can't go back through one until you go do a different vault. That seems fair right? :)

Hang in there, the tunneling and camping tend to stop when you get a better rank. Just keep up the grind.

What you describe isn´t toxic. Its just a way for the killer to pressure survivors.

Inaccurate. What's ruining the game is survivors using every perk, tactic and playstyle in the book and calling it "okay", but the second the killer does the same, it's "ruining the game".
AKA - You're ruining the game. Stop ruining the video game.

"Every match"? I swear I'm playing a different game than everyone who complains about camping and tunneling on here. It's not every match, and it's not even ruining the matches it does happen in. If you've played even a moderate amount of killer you'd gain some insight as to why it's the best option at times and hopefully understand why it happens to you at times, or you'd realize you're being accused of it because you kicked a gen or broke a pallet before leaving the hook and someone else decided to run right in front of you for an unsafe unhook.

Buts it is simply not fair for the person being camped/tunneled on since there is nearly no chance of escaping once the killer decide to use those "strategics" if you can even call it that since it takes zero effort. At the end of the day we calculate 1 for 1 person having fun and thats not the case if killers are able to camp like the current state allows them to. The person should always have a skill relyed chance of escaping, it should feel rewarding to play good

depends on the solos. there are solos where we gg ez. and then there have been solos where we die immediately. it depends on how skulled you and your teamates are.

He caught you and he prevented other survivors from unhooking you. I don't see how that's undeserved.
DBD isn't a 1v1 game. It's a 1v4 game. While the killer can easily force one survivor to die, it can often be detrimental as it means the killer isn't pressuring the other survivors and keeping them from finishing gens.

No? Its clearly unfair for the person being camped, that has nothing to do with failed or the teammates since the killer runs at mach 5 after not being able to down a surv for 3 min.

afking infront of a hook takes no skill or effort and only ruins the experience of that person being camped. If you get camped once the gens are done is a different topic that i dont consider as camping.

Ok that's for sure not true. Exposed perks don't just expose you for nothing. Starstruck activates when pciking a survivor up and only lasts for a certain amount of time. Noed has so much time for you to cleanse it before it activates. Devour hope requires you to not camp and can be cleansed before you even become exposed. So yeah

I played from 9PM EST the other night until 2AM EST and it was every damn match I was in I was camped or tunneled.

Bloodlust resets when killers break pallets, use their M2 power, or lands an M1 hit.
If the killer is bloodlusting you and refusing to break pallets, then just go to shack as it's basically impossible for the killer to down you without breaking shack pallet.

Ya'll can call me a liar if you want but my friend that I play with is a streamer and she's live every time I play it. Last night was a better night bc i did escape a few times but the other night I played it and it was every match for 3 hours straight.

cuz there are mutliple killer shacks (infinites) that you can loop in all game
oh wait they removed that because it was "unfair"
also its not part of participating in normal gameplay since the killers goal is be killing all the survivors

Make killer and survivor hitboxes the same size and you can take away bloodlust.

Killer shack was just an easy example. Jungle gyms can also force pallet breaks.
A killer killing a survivor via camping is not participating in "normal" gameplay according to who? Devs have stated camping is not bannable. The killer's job is to kill survivors so he's doing his job forcing you to die on 1st hook.
Sometimes you die on your first hook and that's okay.

thats not entirely true as the griefing part actually states "Targeting specific users repeatedly in order to ruin their game experience" and thats most of the time what those killers are doing and thats what i am complaining about

You can't make camping bannable/punishable behavior behavior. If a new player makes the call that that's the best way to win the game because they don't know how to track well, they don't really understand how the game works yet, don't have perks like BBQ etc... Not everyone who camps is doing it maliciously to ruin someone's experience.

Camping is a part of the game, because killers aren't bots. But if you are getting hooked several times in the game and aren't being camped to death on first hook what is the problem?
You have many opportunities to lose the killer. Your teammates have opportunities to take the aggro for you.

You are blaming the killer for mistakes made by you and your team. There is nothing wrong with camping. It's not an auto win strat and many killers who do commit to camping will lose the game.

Survivor hitbox is smaller than killers. That's why they can loop by hugging the wall.

Not even that. Get rid of exhaustion perks DESIGNED to extend chases artificially. When I play, if I even hit Bloodlust, it's because the survivor used an exhaustion perk to extend the chase through no skill of their own. We can get rid of bloodlust when exhaustion takes a dirt nap.

Killers already over powered so really they shouldn't have to camp and tunnel. It's BS. Like I said my friend streams so its all on her stream what we deal with. Tonight is another night of camping and tunneling. Its annoying too bc that crap causes us to de-pip.
