Suiciding on hook should be faster
I just got my teammates killed, cause I couldn't suicide on hook faster. I got facecamped by killer and my team wanted to save me, but I wanted my team to leave me alone and survive. But it took so long untill I died on hook, that my teammates got killed by that camper...
So please, let me suicide faster on hook like before that stupid change was made.

It's a Catch 22; people don't want jerks who get caught right away to just kill themselves and cripple their team BUT there are circumstances where suicide on hook is the right play.
Personally I'm happier with the current system than the old system even with that drawback but that's just me.

So you want to change a mechanic because your teammates made a bad play and fed a camper.

The new mechanic is actually a lot more fair you can still ######### and you don't have to do the whole struggle phase but it also gives Killers no reason not to just slug for the 4k as they have time to search the area or reach hatch

Agree, this change was a massive buff to killer. Killers now have a lot of secs to find the hatch

I would not say it was a massive buff, but it certainly benefits the Killer more.
If someone wants to suicide, it takes longer, meaning that a Killer has way more time to get to the Hatch. Meanwhile, a Survivor gets nothing from saving someone who wanted to suicide, because they most likely will not continue playing the game. The last Survivor I saved before they were able to suicide just went afk at the Hook - and this is the better outcome, I have also seen Survivors sandbagging the people who saved them.

My swf teammate and I have stopped trying to help anyone that attempts escape since most times they just sandbag the team after being unhooked because they're mad they were saved.

Sounds like a lie tbh. Most of the time i see hook suiciders do it for selfish reasons, not there to help teammates. I usually rush the hook before they can suicide so i can at least milk some points of them

It's already fast. Simply do not attempt to purposely fail any skill checks, after two are failed automatically by letting the spinner just do its thing - you die.
