Why is the anniversary event in July?

I misread the month in which the 5th anniversary event was supposed to take place, that's on me, getting excited for nothing.

However, while I already understand it can't be changed so close to the date and previous anniversaries were celebrated towards the end of June, there are many reasons why it feels weird to have it then.

According to Google and a few other wikis, the game came out in June, so 1-15 of June would have been perfect for the anniversary. It would also have been perfect as a filler before the new chapter comes out.

Which brings us to the next issue: In my opinion it makes barely any sense to have an event right AFTER new content. Rather than classic matches where most are used to all variables, we will have to "enjoy" the event at the same time people are just trying out the new killer/survivors, new loadouts, new strategies, etc. While one could say that the new content will make people play more of the event or vice versa, but it doesn't sound better than the previous option.

Overall, I just hope to see a bit of a better schedule and order of releases, that's it.

Thanks for reading.
