Solos should not be buffed for a long time, calling out Scott jun.

People need to stop even considering actual, numerical buffs or nerfs to SWF/solo. They're not going to change your gen speeds, or movement speed, or perks or anything like that based on who you play with.
All of these "nerf SWF" and "buff solo" arguments just triggers the killer/survivor partisans.
What solo needs, isn't a tangible buff, it's needs quality of life improvements. Things like:
- Allowing survivors to view each others perks and items in the lobby.
- Pre-game survivor chat for console players.
- Giving preset, map-wide communication options like "killer is near" "coast is clear" "help!" "I'm good" give it a 30s or 60s cooldown, maybe a directional ping.
This provides solo players an information advantage that doesn't benefit SWFs in any way, bringing them closer to SWF level, closing the gap between SWF and solo.
Once SWF and solo are more comparable, you can then judge if survivors in general need a nerf, or killers need a buff, in response.

I really hope they don't add in MMR.
Buff solo q and killer but don't bring in MMR. Don't want 100% guaranteed sweaty games every time I play as killer or survivor. This game wouldn't be fun if you only faced top tier survivors or only faced Nurse, Spirit or ...hag

I play solo queue and i don’t think it needs a buff. I just need teammates who don’t self care on the corner, and leave me to die on my first hook.

I think quality of life changes are ok but direct new mechanics to help them communicate or or affects gameplay is not good

He got stuck in match making for 3 about hours

If MMR works as intended, being you get matched against survivors of equal skill, buff or nerf changes would only really affect players at the furthest ends of skill. If your are not a top 5% killer or survivor or bottom 5% killer or survivor (those numbers are a little of a guess because I don't have data on how wide matchmaking would be with MMR) then all a buff or nerf to the other side will do to you is shift the survivor pool you play against. So any buff or nerf now would really make no difference to MMR for 90% of the player base.
I have my doubts MMR will really work though because I think it would be almost impossible to accurately assign a skill number to survivors based on how much rng of maps and other teammates play can affect your performance.

Both solo survivor and killer needs buff! Game would be much better if this happened.

he wants to buff solo so that solos could potencialy be close to the power level of SWF. the ability to communicate is so strong in this game, even if it is basic call outs. its a problem that is unfixable so why not make it a standard and give everyone that option to make the solo experience more enjoyable? this could also help the balancing team with being more comfortable with buffing killers since (im sure this comes into effect often) making a perk/change that doesnt stomp solo q's or change perks that are useless against SWFs so theres more change to the meta. (at least i would think it would open up these options more.)
while yes, it sucks if the game becomes omega competitive but the fact of the matter that it is abhorrent to play solo with a lack of communication and understanding of the game for new players, having a quick chat option makes the game easier to get a hold of for new players and can help with learning when to save/not save, when to ignore if theres a camping buba, or many other things.
I think that buffing solo q. would make the game far more enjoyable with or without MMR and just a better learning experience for new players on what to do mid game. killers could potentially receive buffs that are actually meaningful or better designed killers for the new meta of communication.

Hey, do you know WHY Scott says that solo players should be buffed? Do you know what his end goal is with that? Because you're talking like he said that they should be buffed for no reason.
