DC should count as sacrifice for archives
Would be nice since people can dc when dead on hook and carrying to hook and it will not count :(

The archive challenges have a lot of flaws. Looks like I just found another one

Sure, when a killer DCs it counts it as an escape so this would make sense.

Exactly!

As well as PHs Cage rescues should count for these "unhooking challenges". I don't know if caging counts towards killer challenges, but it should as well.
They included Breakable Walls to the "break x gens/pallets" stuff at lest.....

Nah, if a killer wants to be toxic enough to prod someone into Dcing they shouldn't be rewarded for it anymore than as is..

When a survivor dc it doesnt mean the killer was being toxic

Intentional DCs? Uh, unless someone's mom is demanding they take out the dog, or such, yes it does. :)

No lmao people intentionally dc if its a killer they dont like, if something went wrong like a dead hard didnt work, or if they didnt like their teammates,
It doesnt mean the killer was toxic...

It almost always means the killer was toxic, your denial doesn't change that. If people don't like their teammates they are much more prone to kill themselves on hook. Well they can do that too with killers, but that's beside the point.

Nice bait

I had someone DC on me yesterday because I closed the hatch.
...4 gens were all that were done. (Yes, they had a key. Yes, all three of them wanted to get out. Only one of them did. Guess they should've just left if they wanted to use that key.)

Yeah I agree. It's always frustrating when you're doing a sacrifice challenge and someone DCs.

Ouch, were you doing the sacrifice challenge while that happened?

Nnnnnoooo? Have you played killer before?
I play the friendliest damn killer around and survivors still DC plenty. I never tunnel or camp unless someone asks for it by hard BMing me, I switch up targets and spread hooks, I give second chances if I feel bad for the survivor for any reason, I leave survivors alone when they're funny or cute, I target sandbaggers and leave sandbaggees alone, I've never touched NOED in my life, I sometimes run Devour Hope but then keep hooking people even when I can mori them, et cetera. Half the time, when given the choice, I don't even kill anyone and let everyone escape with 2 hooks. The following DCs still happen in abundance.
-"I got downed too fast at the start of the match" or "That hit was bullshit"
-"My cool tech didn't work"
-"I don't like who the killer is" (or the rarer substratum, "I don't like my teammates")
-"This match is taking too long"
-"I want to spite the killer, because if I DC right before going up on death hook/after they closed the hatch, then I didn't really 'die' and they didn't actually beat me"
And the worst, if you're a Deathslinger - "I want to glitch the killer into being completely impotent for the rest of the match"
Survivors being angry enough to DC has a correlation with how the killer is playing, but it sure as hell doesn't mean the killer was being toxic. Sometimes it just means the killer wasn't losing horribly, and the survivor angers easily or has no tolerance for going against certain killers.

Yeah, I was.
Then had a DC yesterday while doing the "hook the obsession 4 times" challenge. Had furtive chase, but THANKFULLY the obsession didn't DC until after they were saved off the hook.

Right... so downing someone after they've been exposed with Make Your Choice is apparently toxic now? Damn, I guess chalk that perk up with the other apparent OP toxic perks like NOED... learn something new every day.
