I'm really sorry if this is said too often, but match making is making me very sad~

I understand that I can do fairly well in the game, I've really enjoyed my as of current time 600 hours in it. I main killer and I have enjoyed leveling a few up to 50 so far, finding what works best for me and while I find the grind tedious it does allow me some leisure to learn a killer that's not a problem.

My hardest and biggest gripe now is that I don't know what's been going on since Wednesday but whatever it is I've checked every single profile I can before match start and I am starting to get very, very burnt out.

It's incredibly depressing, disheartening, and takes away all fun of the game when I'm consistently and frequently matched against survivors that literally have as I noted, 4000-9000 hours of play time.

Out of the 20 games I have played, the lowest player hours I've been pitted against was one just over 2500, with 4000-6000 being the most common, with the occasional 6000+

These matches are not fun, they outclass me in skill level so strongly I can't even imagine them having any fun either, I've had players even mercy me a hook at the end because they stomped me so devastatingly hard.

I do my best to play these out in hopes I Might learn something out of these games, I've watched videos of Fog Whisperers and even engaged in their streams for advice on what to do about strong teams, and it's a dagger in my heart when the common answer is; "There's really nothing you can do against good survivors."

I just really needed to get this off my chest and I hope there's a future for players like me some day soon, because the current rank system seems to punish mid-range time invested players like myself.

I hope it isn't confirmation bias as well, Hopeful one day this trend corrects itself, but going on 4 days of it I'm concerned, worried even this is the normal now.
