New Items in game.
So it just occurred to me that survivors have 1. Med kit, 2. Toolbox, 3. Map, 4. Key, and 5. Flashlight. Five items in total to choose from. I'm not sure if anyone else has suggested a flare gun or other items before but would be cool to see some other items possibly come into the game.
First two are similar and could be either two separate items or one as an addon for the other. For example an addon would turn the road flare into a flare gun. Mess kit is my favorite idea.
- Flare Gun - Can be used to temporarily blind killer when shot in direction of killer.
- Road Flare - Can be used to temporarily blind killer when ignited. Can also be throws or dropped as distraction.
- Mess Kit - Mess kit can used to set up over already existing fires throughout the map. With proper addons Mess Kit can be used to cook food and heat up drinks. Food and drinks will provide various effects depending on the addon. Effects could be a heal over time effect or temporary exhausted recovery. The killer can destroy the mess kit.
- Air horn - Air horn can be used to deafen the killers hearing for a short period of time. This also alerts the killer to your presence.
Just some ideas I came up with.

There should be less blinding-related items, but the airhorn would be a great and hilarious event item. (Maybe it could even work across the map.)
I think that we could use more items/addons on both sides with significant and interesting drawbacks.
