Inner Strength is a good on paper but...
IMPORTANT:
I think it should activate immediately upon entering a locker. Everything else stay the same. I'm tired of meta but all the other 'potentially' decent perks have annoying hinderances. I think removing the 8 seconds wouldn't overpower it but make it much more appealing to use.
Inner Strength on paper sounds kind of cool. But when you start to break it down it is actually kind of useless compared to other healing perks and items. The time spent finding, time spent cleansing, time spent heading to a locker, and then additional 8 seconds to activate? That's more of a hindrance than a perk. I could cleanse a totem and just heal with a normal medkit. Some people will say bring a map but then you've brought a perk and an item just to get the effect. Its not really a perk in that case. You could argue that you have protection from Franklin's but you are adding more uncertainty with other draw backs. Iron Maiden being an example. Even self care is potentially faster if you cant find totems or your team has already cleansed them.

Because of how adamant devs are with perk tiers, I would make it so that auras of lockers are revealed to you after every destroyed totem for x/y/z seconds

Instant would be busted, but I agree with lowering the activation time. 5/4/3 seconds should suffice.

But then it would suffer from the Buckle Up sickness where leveling up the perk has no purpose. Also, it should be 5/4/3 seconds

That’s what I meant, I’ll edit my post! Leveling it up under what I said saves you one second per tier - the same as what it currently does. May not be a lot but it is something.

I just wish you could get tokens. Being able to destroy every totem you see instead of savin it when you already got Inner Strength up. It sucks when you have it up and you either cleanse a totem to avoid NOED or not cleanse it and risk having a teammate do it. I get having 5 heals is kinda nuts but you also worked towards getting them, but spending time ignoring gens to find totems. Or instead of the tiers being 10/9/8 seconds let it be "You can save up to 1/2/3 tokens"

I've previously advocated for a token system too. Although I don't know the reason why the devs didn't or haven't implemented that yet, my thought was that they didn't want multiple IS users to be screwed over by one teammate getting all the totems. But people won't always know you have IS anyways and do totems just because... so for all these reasons, Self-Care truly is the better perk (and/or Botany Knowledge with a medkit).

I guess my token system with capping it at 3 would remove the problem of someone taking all the totems at the beginning of the match. It'd be such a good buff that could even make the perk somewhat meta but also still be balanced, cause it's not like survivors get free heals. They get rewarded for doing a second objective (totems) and if they get one totem, then they can either decide to be happy with what they've got or spend even more time looking for totems. Realistically, even with this buff, I doubt many people would put it in their build instead of BT, DS, Sprint Burst, Iron Will and the other current meta perks.

Remember that one time when Otz got Buckle Up in his Bloodweb 5 times in a row? Yeah, I don't think there should be more perks with the Buckle Up sickness
