F.E.A.R. chapter?
Would anyone be interested in a chapter that was based on the F.E.A.R. series? I just didn't know if there were enough fans of the series to actually want something like that or if it would even be a good idea in the first place.

I love Alma - she's easily my favorite
I play through all the F.E.A.R. games every October. I have every appearance of Alma memorized in the first two games.
Anotherwords, she can't jump scare me anymore. But.... she still sends a cold chill down my spine everytime I see that damn girl.

But.... because I love her so much, I doubt DBD could do her justice.

O, I love me some F.E.A.R. Alma would be a great addition, but how would you constrain her ocean of abilities into just one to use ingame?
If she is introduced, though, her map better have a ladder where I can shimmer above a survivor climbing down, though. . . .

Well they always downsize killer's abilities. In the games, Nemesis can punch through brick walls easily and pulls out a rocket launcher. I don't think Alma would be too overpowered for dbd.

I never watched it but the characters are chilling to look at.
I'm interested to see them in game.

Did you visit the F.E.A.R.'s "secret" Armacham website back then? That was scary and really unique game-wise.
As for the topic I agree. Although I love F.E.A.R. (particularly 1) and used to be extremely addicted to the game series back in the day I doubt DBD could do Alma justice.
EDIT: Maybe if they made her a 90%-ish movement speed killer with an insanely powerful ability like Nurse. Still not sure, though.

F.E.A.R. is a game series.
Also, I heavily support this. F.E.A.R. is awesome and Alma or Paxton could easily serve as a decent Killer, and the Pointman a good survivor given what he's been through.

Pointman is an interesting choice as a survivor - how would you translate his time dilation into a perk?

I'm not really sure to be honest, I was trying to think of that myself. I considering maybe anything that could affect any time related activities, like the EOG, or something that potentially gives the killer a small slowdown under certain circumstances to emulate his power.

Thats why it would be good, dbd is relatively well known and people get introduced to a lot of horror through it, FEAR is a very good game and theres many reasons to play it.
it should be like the resident evil chapter, two parts, as for point man being a survivor im all for it, my idea is like this:
1st part: Point Man (survivor), Alma (Killer)
2nd part: Jin sun Kwon (survivor), Paxton Fettel (Killer)
Theres quite a few character alternatives if point man was not to be added anyway for balance reasons, such as becket, Betters, and Jankowski.
Personally first on the list of alternatives for me would be Jin.

Isn't Alma just palette swapped sadako? Doesn't seem interesting to me.

Alma can do a lot of different things in lore, she has a lot of gameplay potential balancing her without making her exactly sadako is the problem

alma is a psionic, completely different thing, she uses mental based powers to induce trauma and break apart her victims perception of reality around her, and effect the real world through means of teleportation, and opening portals etc, shes much MUCH more "in your head", if you have played the fear games you will know that she causes the apocalypse on a wide scale after escaping her container, her abilities arent the issue its balancing.
