Ranks should be hidden during MMR tests

Ranks should be hidden during MMR tests. Everyone is just focusing on the ranks in their reports, instead of how hard/easy the match was. It is not enough to write down that ranks don't matter, it should be hidden.

I agree with OP. Just leave out the ranks and let the MMR run and people can instead react to the experience.

Every match isn't going to be perfectly fun for both sides. You have to make the best of what's given you and try to make the game fun for your fellow players. Are you contributing? Or are you just disconnecting or giving up?

If I see someone with one or two ######### perks, I might think they're using a new character, but they're not new players.

When I see they're also brown ranks , then I have the confirmation they're indeed new players.

And when they're matched against my rank 1 2.4k hours killer main Billy, I will also know that the matchmaking test failed.

See, hiding ranks would work against the experiment.

Gotta say its a nice change to see people doing the objectives, even if they are rank 15s

I'd agree with this, I think it would be easier to get feedback as well without everyone focusing on what colour rank people are in the end screen but go rather on the match outcome/how the match felt etc.

There's already a wider superstition or misconception around MMR, players are against it right off the bat, many even avoid playing the game entirely during the MMR tests, skewing the results. There's so much confirmation bias in the feedback.

You don't just need to hide the ranks, you need a long term test, over several days or even weeks.
