Custom games aren't really... custom
I mean, every other game that has a custom game mode has WAY more customization than dbd. You can customize running speed, how much damage you do, how much damage you take, jump height, number of players, number of bots, etc. Then there's dbd where it's just "I picked a map". That's the only thing "custom" about it aside from the fact you can play with your friends.
Give us a TRUE custom game mode. Let us have more players in the match, let us use retired addons, offerings, and items. Let us change how fast everyone runs, let us place the tiles on the map we select, change the number of gens, give us SOMETHING that isn't just Kill Your Friends.

Seriously, they added new UI for new features. They can use the new UI to allow more players in customs because of its free space.

I agree for most of it except old offerings. The boquets made the devs make like 9 different versions lighting wise of a map. Old addons and stuff would be cool though. Idk how itd work but itd be interesting.

I know this doesn't mean much but you're also able to disable offerings/perks/items and can disable dlc characters. I get what you mean though, I'd like it if they added more ways to customize custom lobbies.

First things first, just let use start custom match with 1 player and add bots to the matches that are actually working.
God damit even if it had to be monetised in some way, I would even go the lenghts to pay for good well designed, deep custom game mode. I really really want it.

Exactly, there's enough room for 4 more survivors on the current layout. You can even put the other killers icon in the top right.

Exactly! The possibilities are endless with custom games. It would be nice to turn things on or off, like being able to disable pallets, force everyone to run a specific build, disable basement, disable shack, etc. Or even being able to disable the hatch or remove generators from the map.

I don't even think you can use the Blight Serum killer add-on from Halloween in custom games. That really sucks.

yes please sometimes I just want to test builds without going against sweaty teams or killers and see if it works without being flamed, oh and be able to test them by myself because not all of us have 4 friends ready willing and able to play.

Yes, please! We should be able to change everything in Custom Matches, from old killer powers to old maps.

I feel like old killer powers would be a bit complicated given they'd have to change add ons and such to accommodate. Like they can't just add in old Freddy, It'd be too much work I think.

I doubt Old Freddy, Nurse, Doctor, Bubba and Billy are just...gone. Their assets must still be there.
I don't think it would take a lot of time to add them back in Custom games.

I remember they used to let you use the retired moonlight offerings only in custom games, but after checking recently it seems they totally removed those from even custom games too.

I don't understand how custom games aren't custom.
You can choose any perks in the game, any perks at all, you don't need to grind for 5000 hours to unlock them all, they're just there, ready to use.
You can swap between killer/survivor/spectator at will.
You can choose maps without offerings.
You can enter with fewer than the minimum number of players.
You seem to want to play an entirely different game.

You can already do alot of those things in game (I know you said, you don't have to buy it) It's just that playing a custom match has almost no difference from playing a regular match.

Exactly, there's no gameplay modifiers, there's no ability to choose what tiles spawn. It's just a normal game of dbd with your friends.

Mainly since every time someone makes an idea about a new game mode, everyone would always shoot it down claiming it would SpLiT tHe FaNbAsE. Honestly I just want the devs to focus on the current game so having fully customizable games made by the community isn't so bad
Also I want a 10x server so that I can sprint burst at 1500% speed for 30 seconds and then get exhausted for 400 seconds
