What are some tips for playing against Nurse?
It genuinely feels like there's almost nothing that I can do against a Nurse and it's beyond frustrating. I face Nurse so often as well for some reason. I've tried things like the double back mindgame, I've tried to use some unpredictable movement and yet, I get downed all the same. Pallets and windows are useless against her and she can negate distance very quickly. Blocking LOS can help sometimes, but other times the Nurse just predicts my movement and downs me no problem. Are there any tips that you fine people on the forums may offer? To be honest, it's really hard to enjoy Survivor when I'm almost constantly facing sweaty Nurses.

The issue is that the DC tech can have a pretty hefty cooldown. It also has the added issue of feeling bad for screwing over my teammates even more then they already were.

Disconnecting is not a "tech", it's rage quitting.
OP, the best advice I can give you is to play as the Nurse. Learn her mechanics, learn her limitations, then figure out how best to counter her. However...
Blocking LOS can help sometimes, but other times the Nurse just predicts my movement and downs me no problem.
Yes, that's going to happen. No strategy is perfect. You can and will lose against killers even if you use the best possible strategy because the best possible strategy is still flawed. I will say, though, that if she can predict your movement, it's because your movement is predictable.

And in a more serious way
Try to be stealthy, if won't kill (no pun intended; Mindgames are the best way to counter her, but some experienced nurses are used to those so it won't work everytime, so yeah, they'll usually predict your movements. But most of the time it is easier to avoid a nurse when she is teleporting far away from you rather than when she is too close to you

Be as unpredictable as possible. Don't make obvious moves.

Yeah I was kidding, I should have made 1 response instead of 2 and put my joke in my real answer
Sry :/

Oh I know DC'ing isn't a tech. I was just joking along with the person who commented.
So are you saying that I basically have to just block LOS and hope she messes up? I have played her in the past and I just didn't enjoy her at all. I find her to be rather unpleasant for both sides but maybe that's just me.

All you can do:
- Mindgame her. But good Nurses will not eat that possibly.
- Break LOS. But that is also not helps againts good Nurses.
- Use walls, rocks, objects. Make her blink and hit wrong. But good Nurses will not eat too.
So i think you get point. If Nurse is new or not good, you have some weapons againts her. But pro Nurses will destroy you

Yeah I gathered as much. I do mostly fine against inexperienced Nurses. It's REALLY hard to play against good Nurses though. They seem to treat pubs like some comp tourney and it's super unpleasant, lol.
Kinda difficult to stealth around when I main Jeff, lol. I'll keep it in mind though.
I'll do my best.

The best way to learn to counter a character is usually to play them and see what works against you. The issue with nurse is that to get to a decent level will take you 100+ hours if you are a skilled Killer and also a super-fast learner so this is not really a viable option for many people.
So here I would suggest watching of high level players both playing nurse and playing against here.. Also there are some YouTube and Twich video complilations on how to beat/win with Nurse that can be very helpful to get the basics.

Keep distance
Keep her guessing
God Nurses don't exists. It's an excuse for those that don't try.
Every action she takes is televised. When she charges a blink, when she is blinking, and where she is blinking.
You may think you are being unpredictable but are more than likely running the same way as any other survivor.
Best way to play against a Nurse is know how she plays. Taking that knowledge and applying it to your movements and position.

You can win againts good Nurses too. You just have to be so smart. Try all mindgames. Confuse her. And walls works so well againts her. So go to walls when she chase you. You can break her blinks. Most Nurses i faced when i do that they trying m1 or just leaving. Because they can not see behind wall and they can fail with blinks.
And also indoor maps works so well againts her. Nurse is killer of mindgames. If you can be unpredictable, you will win.

If god nurses don’t exist then surely 4 man death squads don’t either yes?

Those things are not related, though.

W early. She covers distance quickly with her blinks. When you hear the TR, start moving if you're not sure whether she's going for you or not.
Break LOS and mix up your pathing. A basic double back might work once against a good Nurse and proceed to get you killed for the rest of the trial.
You don't want to immediately double back when you break LOS. You need to round the corner enough to force a second blink if they safe blink to the corner. *Now* you have the option to quickly double back during the chain blink window, hesitate and keep moving to bait out a short second blink, locker juke the second blink, break LOS again and then double back, etc.
A decent Nurse will have good first blink mechanics. A great Nurse will have good second blink mechanics. Force the Nurse to be great and make difficult second blinks.
I like to mindgame with unused pallets too. They are absolutely a weapon to a patient survivor against a Nurse. I stand on one side and play chicken with the Nurse. Most aren't confident and will try to mindgame with their blink, then eat a fatigue rather than simply blinking to the middle of the pallet and swinging.
It's good to determine whether the Nurse is a prediction blinker or not. Prediction Nurses are easy. If they try to anticipate you and blink ahead, then you can use windows and everything to bait out bad blinks.

"God Nurse" implies infallible. All Nurses can be ran. Unless external applications are involved a player cannot guess correctly 100% of the time.
I believe there's enough evidence to prove survivors can complete their objective far faster than the killer.

Hope she's not good, or die.

A god nurse more so implies a nurse who will consistently hit blinks and have very strong predictions since they have played so long. I’m not denying they’re rare but they do exist.
That totally depends on the killer being used but for the majority I’d agree but nurse spirit and hag can all definitely compete

Describing a good Nurse.

To an extent they are. A god nurse would be a nurse that doesn’t really make any mistakes therefor having no counterplay
A death squad is a group of 4 really good survivors with the sole objective of winning as quickly as possible. Therefor having little counterplay

Yes and good nurse can be complete stomps especially with IF or against solos

Thanks for all the tips everyone. I'll do my best to keep them in mind from now on.
